I stayed at Hotel Cuntera for one night while driving through the Swiss alps. I was looking for a bed and breakfast that was comfortable, had the ability to hike, and had exceptional views. Hotel Cuntera fit all of those criteria. Staying there for a few nights or more is entirely possible, as Disentis is a 15-20 min drive.

We had originally booked just one night's stay in August but after two weeks of travelling from the UK, through France and Italy, our car broke down within sight of the hotel. We received the warmest welcome and constant support from Giusep and Sabine throughout our extended stay. Our children told us that this hotel felt like home. They made full use of the wifi and enjoyed peace and quiet and the walks in the countryside. The rooms were spotless, in fact, the whole hotel is kept clean and well maintained. Sabine's home cooked food was delicious as was the local beer on tap. The location is breathtakingly beautiful and the dining room offers panoramic views of the mountains and valley. The bedrooms both had balconies where we sat and enjoyed the views too. In the end we spent three nights here and would gladly return.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage und trotzdem nahe der Lukamier-Passstrasse. Sehr angenehme und freundliche Atmosphäre, Zimmer sauber und bequem eingerichtet, prima Matratzen, supergute Küche! Das Hotel ist gut organisiert, das Personal zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Preise moderat bei bester Leistung.

Magnifique endroit très calme dans un hameau avec une magnifique chapelle de 1601 (très belle bâti hôtel peinte au plafond)

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Cuntera. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und durch die ruhige Lage konnten wir "eusi Seele loh bambele loh". Das Wirtepaar war sehr zuvorkommend und jederzeit für unsere Anliegen da. Essen sehr fein und mit Liebe angerichtet. Frühstückbuffet eine tolle Auswahl, saubere Zimmer und bequemes Schlafen. Wir kommen wieder und können es nur weiterempfehlen.
