Coco's Beachfront Cabanas

We had an amazing stay at Coco's Beachfront Cabanas! The cabin was perfect—right on the beach, super clean, and had everything we needed. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to step out onto the sand was just incredible. Jean, the host, was so friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and giving great recommendations for things to do in the area. The beach is absolutely gorgeous—quiet, beautiful water, and the perfect spot to relax. Honestly, it exceeded all our expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Placencia, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our experience at Coco’s. Jean met us when we arrived and gave us some helpful tips. The location cannot be beat and it was hard for us to motivate off the deck. The sunrise and birds were amazing. The cabana is very comfortable and clean. WiFi worked well. We drove from Belize City airport and was an easy drive (except the speed bumps). We took advantage of the kayaks but not the bikes. People drive crazy! The main road wasn’t as pedestrian friendly as we hoped. Simply Vibes restaurant across the street was a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend and Coco’s exceeded expectations.

The place is paradise Steve and Jean are such get hosts very friendly and welcoming the cabana is right in the beach has hammocks and a bike to use to get around it the bed was big and comfortable the pool was beautiful one of the most important thing for my staying anywhere that’s it’s clean and it was spotless you can really tell that they take pride in what they do .when I was leaving Steve have me a ride to the airfield it was very generous of him .thank you guys for a get stay and I hope to be back

We LOVED this little piece of paradise! We arrived at BZE airport and rented a vehicle and drove the 2.5 hours to Coco's Beachfront Cabanas. There were some nice views along the way. Traffic was essentially non-existent. Biggest issue was the sporadic speed bump which seemed to show up out of nowhere. We stayed in the purple cabana.. it is like a very large spacious studio apartment w/ full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. There is a safe for valuables. There are 3 ceiling fans as well as A/C and many windows. The bathroom was charming and this 6'4" person really liked that the showerhead was high up on the wall. Bath towels as well as beach towels are provided. It is just feet from the ocean. While we were there, there was a constant daytime breeze which was refreshing and was a nice accompaniment to lying in one of the hammocks and reading my eReader. We also made use of the adirondack chairs and chaise lounges. There is a nice pool which, if I recall, had temps in the mid 80s. There are pool floaties for use. The cabana has an outside shower and footbath which was perfect for rinsing off after the pool or from being in the ocean or to just get the sand off your feet. There was a dock which led out over the water which would be perfect if you wanted to do some fishing or just relax out over the water. There is a restaurant right across the street which had really great food. There are also other restaurants w/ in 5-10 minute drive. The grocery is a 5 minute drive and had most everything you could need. Downtown Placencia is about 15 mins drive and is great to walk around and have a drink or a meal. Land adventures were about a 30-40 min drive away. We did zip lining, an ATV tour to a waterfall, river tubing, and a hike to another waterfall. We also did some "commercial" trips such as to some Mayan Ruins which were AMAZING. The company we went with picked us up right at Coco's Beachfront and dropped us off at the same. We also did 2 scuba diving trips. Similar to the land adventures, we were picked up at CBC and dropped off at same. To sum it up, our trip was amazing and Coco's Beachfront Cabanas was a large part of that amazing trip. The hosts, Jean and Steve, were very accommodating. They gave us suggestions of adventures to do, places to eat, where to get groceries, etc. We can't say enough great things about them and CBC. We will definitely be back.
