A motel in Gold Coast, with a good location and free parking! Plenty of parking spaces. The hotel has a small swimming pool, so you can go back to the hotel to continue swimming after swimming in Gold Coast. I booked a connecting room, which is not very big, but enough. The hotel restaurant is open at noon, so there is no breakfast. But we had lunch and dinner in the restaurant, the quality is great and very cost-effective. The price level is lower than Brisbane. Very friendly price for a tourist area. The only dissatisfaction is that I found a big spider in the room on the morning of departure, which scared me to death, maybe it's the original ecology. Overall, it's still a very good hotel.

Overall Darcy Arms Hotel was fantastic.
Only thing that put a dampner on our stay was no jug in our room for morning coffee.
Supplies were their for coffee making. 😞

Only problem was noise.
The room itself was great, nice and clean, and the location was amazing.
My only problem was the bar at the motel, it was so loud most of the day and early night, especially when they had live music. I couldn't relax in my room because of that.

Tidy room,walk to beach and tram station,underground parking.Was perfect for overnight stay.Would use again as it is a basic roomstay.You get what you pay for so dont expect anything extravagent.

Proper friendly hotel
Booked as it was cheap for an advanced booking, thought would be an OK place to sleep.
Room a bit worn sort of rustic but great bed, nice bathroom working AC and fan lovely little pool
Best of all a proper pub, good food and the staff really make it.
Pub closes at 10pm so not that noisy given its main road location. Garage car parking included
