Avoid the lower floor rooms (you can hear every step they make above you) and the rooms that border the street (cars going by at all hours). Other than that, its a no frills room with the basics. Only here for a night, but might consider this place again if in the area.

This place if so clean and peaceful, it had every amenity you would need. The hole set up was perfect the design of every room and the exterior, color scheme logo the whole nine yards I can honestly not say enough good about the place or the hospitality. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

We wanted to visit relatives who were staying near-by who didn't have bedspace for us so we booked a room at the Loggerhead Inn. It is a charming little motel in the heart of Surf City and just a block away from the beach. Our room was clean, quiet, restful and comfortably appointed with a small frig, microwave and a pod coffee maker. There is a pool and a laundry room on-site as well as EV charging stations. We will plan to stay again when we are in the area.

It’s Perfect. Immaculate inside and out. Cute and super quaint. My room and bathroom was spotless, Very deep tub, all the amenities needed. I made last minute reservation and had to take a pet-friendly room, couldn’t even tell, wouldn’t have known if they didn’t tell me. I was like, if this is what a pet-friendly room is like, I can’t imagine a regular room being any better - impossible. Super convenient, probably 100 yards from beach. Outdoor private showers, a pantry with towels, coffee, etc., if you run low, don’t have to bother staff or wait, you can help yourself. I stayed alone and felt completely safe. Can’t say enough good things!

Great value and cozy accommodations for Topsail Island. Close to all the restaurants and bars in Surf City, this gem is fully renovated and features homey touches! Friendly staff that aim to please! They offer bikes and beach chairs for your use and send you home with souvenir koozies!

28th wedding anniversary! So happy to have stumbled across the Loggerhead Inn! We stayed in a pet friendly standard room and it was perfect! Clean and wonderful! The gals in the front office were friendly and accommodating. I read reviews of guests complaining about the sound of the toilet, however this is an historical property and they do inform you that it has a "grinder" due to having to modernize the sewer system. I found the jet engine sound charming...Just made sure I didn't flush at 2am! :) the beach is literally 2 seconds across the street. 3 days was not enough! We will be back!

Fairly clean rooms though our sink doesn’t drain. The shower isn’t level so the water doesn’t drain. Room does have a fridge. Comforter had makeup stains and floor was fairly dirty. The inn is right next to the beach so worth it to be able to walk right down to the water. Overall ok, but not worth the price.

A beautifully maintained place with wonderful staff, ample parking, bike rentals, pool, small but well equipped rooms, and all of that just a block away from the beach! One can see the dunes from the front door if one has a room in the rear.

We stayed two nights this past weekend. Immediately entering the room, you could smell the smoke. I have had to air my clothes and bags as a result When we went to the bathroom, there was mold in the shower and no place to put the soap bar. When you flushed the toilet, it made a horrible racquet. The place was convenient, but we will trade this for a cleaner place with a clean bathroom the next time we are in Topssail.
