Travelodge London Chessington Tolworth Reviews

Didn't use in the end as it was too far out, so not sure what to really say here

It was not the best the room was clean the space out side the lifts was not breakfast was not included. No egg or orange juice poster was knackered. But it was ok wents stay again 

Hallway was unclean and needed hovering. Plug point by table in bedroom didn't have a good connection and there was a lamp missing in one of the side lights. We reported this to reception and was advised that tge hotel was undergoing refurbishment.

The facilities are average. On the second day of stay, only new blankets were put in and the sheets were not made!

There were no amenities, and the train at the nearest station stopped working due to a strike, so it was a pretty remote place. Even though I had to clean the room for 5 days, the towels were not changed or cleaned even once, and the soap at the water area was not replaced.It was terrible.

People here are friendly and everything is fine

Ok if you are looking for a basic hotel. We were given the wrong room but finally sorted on 3rd attempt. Breakfast ok but did not keep food well stocked so had to ask for some items and wait for them to arrive. Staff on reception sorted issues but did not apologise for inconvenience. Staff at breakfast would rather have been anywhere else.

Friendly staff- comfortable beds. Fresh clean towels when needed. Tea coffee etc in room. TV. Nice buffet breakfast. Clean hotel. No issues

The stay was perfectly fine given this is obviously a budget hotel. I wouldn't expect the Ritz Carlton! Parking is convenient and there were lots of spaces although I would describe the general feel of the car park as 'bleak' (expected of a multi storey in central London!). Although the stairwells and corridors of the hotel felt a bit dilapidated the room was pleasantly clean, modern and well maintained. Breakfast was fine too with decent selection and all fresh. The staff were particularly nice/ warm so kudos to them for good service.

Staff were indifferent and unfriendly during my stay. Car park is dingy and dangerous (exposed wired hanging from ceiling od entance gangway) that touch your vehicle as you drive up. Breakfast was late being served on the Saturday which meant that I did not get food before leaving for work.

Friendly greeting from reception, room very clean and spacious. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, would have liked to have seen a bit more hot food variety but still done the job. It is NOT a 7 min walk to Tolworth train station, it’s more like 2 minutes and is then only 25 mins direct to London Waterloo. Would highly recommend this hotel

my first time at the Travelodge in quite a long time. I stayed in various months across the city and found it so easy to make this my favourite one. I will definitely come for future trips and by the way a lovely entrance lobby with beautiful sofas

I don’t stay at Travelodge as often, but when I do, I definitely try and stay at this one with my wife. She’s a big fan of Travelodge service as they always have the greatest dinner and the freshest Pizza. Drinks are always a reasonable price and there is nothing to complain about
