GGuest UserOne night stay that was very cheap & satisfactory for price. Location good for bus terminal, seatran coach & food market. The room was clean but basic in style. The bathroom design is odd & not well thought out, as the toilet faced the shower & you could not sit straight. The shower head is fixed and when turned on, unless you are tall goes straight over your head, hits the curtain and runs onto floor and soaks
everwhere. L The bed is hard and tough unless you are a deep sleeper
KKylalaWe stayed here to be close to the airport, so location was not great. Really your quite in trouble if your hungry, so make sure to hit up the surrounding malls before they close at 9pm. Or your only option will be 711 (which isn’t terrible!?)
We were reluctant to stay here after a bad experience with B2 Ao Nang. But this one was MUCH better ran!! Cleaner , and the staff was so wonderful! It is a great bang for your buck. Would definitely stay here again. Only wish they had a gym!
DDin McgregorThis hotel is good for just spending one night and going further along the route, in fact the hotel looks outdated, in my room 402 there were some old dried splashes on the walls and furniture that didn't look very good, the shower room was very small, but this hotel matches the price per night and you can have free coffee at the buffet on the first floor
GGuest UserEveryting was perfect but upon arrival as we checked in at noon , the lady at reception unfriendly and not made the resevation on system for us yet even we booked on trip.com one day before and informed us that we have no reservation yet as we let her khow double check on system. Then we booked the room include breakfast but she never informed us about the breakfast menu , time till night we met other lady at reception and asked her about the brwakfast menu and time.
In the morning time as we met the staff at the restaurant but no smile and the mood on their face look like we disturbance them. We apologise if we expect that thing from the the people who did service job.
AAnonymous UserThe pool is beautiful, makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The hotel is a little unloved/dated but the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Aside from a Lotus shopping mall across the road and a bigger Central Plaza Mall five mins drive away there isn’t really much else around but as we were only here for one night before a transfer to Khao Sok it was fine and at £17 a night couldn’t really complain. Found an amazing restaurant a couple of minutes walk away and sat outside and had ‘hot pot’ with some local residents. The breakfast was the only downside, the food was left uncovered so it was cold and had flies around it.
AAnonymous UserPositive: Good location near the city center. Very easy to access to main attractions, pier and foods. Nice and more to modern hotel compare to another local hotels in the town. As Thai, B2 is the list that I always choose but for this branch there are many things to improve. Negative: cleanliness of the room is the worst B2 that I ever stay. Bedsheets dirty, mold in the shower seems like they never deep clean. Hair even in the minibar. Feedback pass to staffs to improve significantly. Staffs service could be nicer but compare to the tier as budget hotel. I can rank them to 4/5. However, my only 1 night here. I asked for more pillows and they said we are out of stock and then done.
GGuest Userhotel well located in the city center, with elevator. large room. double bed of 130-140cm, a little small for 2. a little old but very good for the price. blanket much too small for the bed..
SShielovableIts a very affordable hotel, very near in floating market.. its clean though and the bathroom was nice .. and also there a heater water in the room. Very affordable for a short stay.
DDGI have been staying at Comet Hotel Suratthani every time I come to Surat Thani over the last two years. While the location may not be the most desirable, the hotel is worth it. Service has always been efficient, courteous and professional. Rooms are a good size and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Bathrooms are large and the overall cleanliness is very good. The hotel has some noticeable wear and tear since it’s opening and I hope the owners will maintain it well. Another positive thing is the parking, which is covered, and welcomes motorcycles, a rare and welcome aspect for ky travelling. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserA very reasonably priced hotel with clean and comfy room and small balcony. The location is just over the bridge the other side from the main town but it is quite peaceful and very easy to access the night markets. I would recommend renting a moped or even a bicycle would be fine. If you visit, walk down to the waterfront near the crossroads bar and you might see a big monitor lizard in the tree. Also I recommend a little trip to Koh Lamphu which is a little island you can go around on foot or bicycle. Next to the entrance there is a little food market which opens at night. A perfect way to experience a bit of local Thai life.
