Waterman Svpetrvs Resort - All Inclusive

Guests praise the exceptional service and prime location near Supetar. The modern rooms, beautiful pools, and dining options are highlighted. However, some find the gym average.

We stayed at Hotel Kaktus at the resort for a week in August. We were sold the ‘privilege package’ through Tui. Overall, we felt that the hotel was more of a 3* than a 4* and wasn’t really suitable for couples who wanted to relax by the pool. Our main issue was with the privilege package that we were sold which included entry to the adult only pool. At no point were we informed that our all inclusive drinks were not included at this pool and that you could not bring all inclusive drinks in there. If we would have known this we wouldn’t have bothered paying. The hotel have responded to a recent review stating the the ‘Lenox Pool’ is seperate to the hotel. If so, why was it sold to us a part of the hotel package? The room was very basic, the worst 4* hotel room we’ve seen. Bathroom door broken, cheap shower tiles peeling away and a birds nest on the balcony with bird droppings everywhere. It really didn’t feel like a 4* room. Food was tasty but a little boring after a couple of nights. Drinks were ok if you stay away from the cocktail. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, would rather pay more for a decent 4* hotel.

PROS Facilities - the rooms are clean and comfortable (although they look nothing like they do on the website/booking site). Location- Beautiful location with lush surroundings and pebble beaches close by. Very clean resort. It is a 10-15 mins walk to centre/mirena with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Plenty of sun loungers. CONS Food. You are allocated a restaurant when you arrive and you have to eat there for breakfast, lunch and supper. There are no children’s options at all (unless you want a slice of pizza for lunch and supper every night). Every piece of chicken had bones in it. There was not much choice and was by far the smallest all inclusive buffet I have ever experienced. Not an all inclusive dining/drink experience that needs attention. We had to eat out 6 evenings out of 7 (foodica is an onsite restaurant where you receive 10% discount and is delicious with lovely sunsets) Lack of drink stations around a large resort, particularly at the kids pool. Full fat cola is not included on all inclusive. No iron to rent. Only option was to pay per item to have them ironed. Staff were not very helpful mainly due to not understanding English. The site advised either a pool or garden view however we had a large, overgrown bush/tree with no view at all. Overall, the all inclusive service requires attention. I have been to over 20 all inclusive resorts and this was was by far the most disappointing. No attention to detail. Cocktails are served in little plastic cups and no special little touches. Very disappointed that we worked so hard for this holiday only for it to be such a let down.
