Rome Palace Deluxe - All Inclusive Premium

Location: Great clean hotel, 7-10 mins walk from the beach. Beach is less crowded than central area of Sunny Beach. Hotel is Not too far from Nessebar and main area in Sunny Beach. Rooms: Rooms are reasonable size. Most, if not all, have large balconies. Those facing swimming pool / sea are better for view. cleaners changed the towels daily/frequently but did not change the bedsheets whole week. Entertainment and staff: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Language can be a barrier as not all can speak English but that is our problem and not theirs. Entertainment team (Zack and Krissy) go out of their way to keep the kids and adults entertained throughout the day. They always appear cheerful and all kids love them. There were 2 nights where special entertainment was set up. Swimming pool is smaller than expected. Enough sunbeds. Drinks and food: Drinks and food is plentiful and of good quality . On occasion, a couple of items were colder than expected but not a big deal. There were always enough tables free so never felt rushed. Staff were very quick with clearing tables. 4 themed dinner nights in the week. Vegetarians may struggle for variety. More Boiled vegetables is not the answer. Probably can do with more varied dishes such as Pasta. Meat eaters are well catered for. Overall a great hotel.

Pillows and bed was great. Room cleaners great. Staff great & very friendly. Food was below average and always cold or raw not cooked properly. Hotel was clean and tidy. Close to the beach.

I had the worst experience with the receptionist and immediately canceled my booking. After traveling 12 hours by car, the receptionist said I don't look like in my ID, because I am fatter now. This situation is just blowing my mind, I still can't believe this happened. This kind of person doesn't have to have contact with people

Wonderfull pillows,all is perfect,the room with balcon can be bigger . The rooms and the bathroom was very clean, mens and wimens who was working in the restrong and on the recepsion where inteligent . The hotel looks interesting inside and outside,there are two bars whith helpfool barmens.

This should have been an easy positive review to write - the rooms, bar, pool areas are all excellent, well maintained with enthusiastic staff. There are 3 areas where the hotel does fall down..the Management, Food and Wellness Centre. In order of escalation; Firstly, the food - fantastic variety with some great tasting options however always stone cold, probably cooked on a Monday and wheeled out each day with no care given to its consumption. Secondly, the wellness centre - the gym area is adequate for a light session when away, however the spa is in disrepair. Only the Jacuuzi was functional (2 of the 10 jets) but the real kicker was the algae happily growing in and around it, adds a bit of green to the plain decor! Finally, the management - reasonably efficient at process but utterly useless at customer service, favourably nicked Captain B"@#＞face" for the constant scowl and lack of positivity to any guest frequenting the establishment. The hotel has potential but suffers from poor leadership. If they were to address the areas listed, this review could have easily been a 5*!!

The hotel was fabulous....the entrance hall was outstanding, the pool area classy and the terrace dining area wouldn't have looked out of place in Covent Garden (London). The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean (as per the rest of the hotel) and the food was delicious and fresh! The hotel was managed exceptionally by the hotel manager who was very hands on, helping her staff whenever required and treating them respectfully also. She had some great customer service-oriented staff who really stood out....the lovely receptionist who was always there and had a permanent smile, very welcoming. The entertainment guy Kiril was fantastic with all the guests and the children and such a lovely young gentleman and Marianne who worked at the pool bar provided excellent service and always with a smile. I couldn't fault anything and I will definitely return....even solo, as I felt totally safe there! It is also less than 2 miles (regular bus service from outside the hotel) to Nesibar which is like York abroad....quaint, cobbled streets and beautiful views and plenty of history (old ruins etc), it was a delightful place to visit and the seafood was delicious. Looking forward to returning to the hotel and Nesibar!
