Absolutely fantastic hotel for the price. We arrived late, just as the kitchen was closed, the owner arranged for the staff to stay to cook us something, rather than trouble them too much we just went for the omelette and fries, after delays at the airport it felt like the best meal ever, The hotel itself is 2 minutes away from the beach and also the start of the green land train Into town. 6 Lev's and worth every bit of you're too knackered after a day in the glorious sun. As all the other reviews say.... The toaster does take a while, but who cares, you're on holiday and you have two hours to wolf down the breakfast so pop some bread in, grab a latte and just wait. The breakfasts were typical, usual foreign sausage (hot dog) scrambled eggs, beans and sometimes fried eggs, a massive continental selection and some amazing pastries . Try the Bulgarian breakfast, I've forgot their name for it, it's basically eggy bread and delicious . The occasional meal we had at the hotel was spot on The staff.... What can I say, they are fantastic, bear in mind, this seems like a family run hotel, not a faceless chain, and all the guests we spoke too seemed to be returnees, year after year and I'm not surprised, the friend I came with has already booked up twice for this hotel next year and she's usually a holiday snob who likes 5* luxury, and this ain't 5*, but what it is, is a great hotel, with a lovely a**osphere, good clean pool, a stocked bar, pretty decent food ( though we never had a bad meal anywhere we ate) and loads of sunshine. The rooms were recently updated, nothing flash, just functional and very clean, was there a downside ? The first night the towel rail fell off and the shower glass popped off the runners, I fixed it myself rather than bother the staff. No big deal. I thought my friend was going to make her gob go and get us a new hotel, but by lunchtime she swore it was the best hotel she's ever stayed in. My dear old mam always said I had to go to Bulgaria one day , places like this are the reason why. I'd deffo come back
