Nice pools, nice themes, breakfast ok but same option only for everyday, stayed 4d3n they only changed ayam masak rendang/ayam masak merah and tomato cheese/corn cheese other dishes stay the same. The dinner buffet have excellent and many types of dessert, too pretty to eat. Very generous with bath gel and shampoo they gave you big bottle but no conditioner I'm ok with it, tooth brush too small and pointy hurt my gums.. Very nice Bertam Resort will visit again!!

My stay here is pleasant. I am satisfied and in future I will choose this hotel again. What makes my stay joyful is that the room is clean, normally I will have an uncomfortable feeling staying in another hotel but here I can sleep soundly (normally I wont get enough sleep in other hotels) For breakfast here they offer freshly made omelette, halfcooked eggs. And all other choices are the same as the hotels breakfast menu. Thanks to all the staff for this satisfaction. And, the soap for the shower is sooooo fragrant.

There is a lot to love about the Purest Hotel in Sungai Petani starting with the room decor. It reminded me of the style of many small boutique hotels I have stayed at in Northern Italy over the years. Simple stylish and elegant would sum it up. The breakfast spread here again ranks with some of the best I have experienced at any South East Asian Hotel. Catering no for both Western and Asian taste it offers a good selection to both. I ate a very satisfactory lunch in the restaurant on the ground floor on one day, which again was good quality. Vegetables that accompanied the dish were nicely presented on the plate and mercifully al dente, a feat that many hotels worldwide fail. Where it is let down: The marble bathroom floor, whilst stylish, is a virtual deathtrap when wet as it becomes dangerously slippy. This is as mentioned in previous reviews and could be solved with the simple addition of a rubber floor mat. Being a supposed 4 star hotel and given it has a swimming pool I would have expected bathrobes, but there were none. When I enquired I was told they were available at the pool, they were not. When I enquired at reception no one seemed to have a clue as to wheter they had them or not. I was eventually told they did not provide them. This, despite me having seen the same in the housekeeping laundry basket. The pool area is a bit of a mess with stacked chairs here and there and no staff until 4pm. In the meantime it's seems to be used by hotel staff wanting to have a smoke. The pool itself, whilst great, is missing a number of tiles which looks a bit shabby for a 4 star. Note to management, some umbrellas by the sun loungers would be great for shade in the scorching rooftop sunshine. Lastly, I ordered room service on one evening and it was delivered without cutlery or condiments to begin. The food itself, a chicken burger, completely tasteless so a disappointment. As I said to begin with a few well placed tweaks and this Hotel could be wonderful and warrent the claimed 4 stars. Would I stay again and would I recommend it? Absolutely!!

An hotel to consider if you're planning a stay in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia. The rooms are well equipped and maintained. Clearness is ensured. The room is equipped with simple and needed amenities including the coffee making facilities. The front office staff too put an happy face while checking in and out. There is no private parking here by the hotel but one can always park at the local authorities parking along the road. The hotel puts up the parking coupons for you on their experience. my husband and i chose to stay here because it is within walking distance to a bridal studio that we were engaged with. it is an average, small room with not much room for walking after we put 2 luggages on the floor. cleanliness is okay. not many tv channels. there is a water station outside our room. shower head water pressure is a little low. the knob (not sure if this is what you call it), which you pull to turn on the water doesnt indicate the temperature but rather the water pressure. if you turn it to your left, the water gets little. ifyou turn it to your right, it comes down in torrents. i find it weird and off bcz that is not how the water knob works. receptionist works almost at a snail-like pace. breakfast is a simple set of eggs and bread in different cooking way. but there is a cafe downstairs which serves better breakfast that what the hotel can offer. however, that will cost more. we paid about RM50 for a breakfast there on our first day. there is a kopitiam nearby, serving local food for breakfast n lunch. we had wantan mee there on our second day which costs only RM10 for 2 pax. hailing rides are easy so you can either rent a car to drive around or just call for Grab.

Arrived @ 4pm and everything was smooth when check in. They provide free parking and the entrance behind the hotel building. Its a multistory carpark. Room was excellent and all was exceptable. We had an enjoyable stay here and will come again in future.

The hotel located at very strategic location..near to shopping complex and walking distance with variety of restaurants around the area..very clean hotels and easy check in. Self service check in kiosk available..recommended and will come back to stay here..

I recently stayed at this hotel, and despite some negative reviews in the comment section, I had a fantastic experience. The staff members were exceptionally good to both me and my wife. We were particularly impressed with the well-maintained bathtub in our room, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel as it is conveniently located near the train station and a mall. This is 1 of the best available hotel in Kulim. 1st time staying. Room had pungent smell when walking into the room & need to switch ON aircon to keep room fresh. Writing table & chair were dusty and room floor looks dusty too. Bed pillows are worn out and need new pillows.
