Sun Plaza Motel

This was a very inexpensive stay and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was dated, but they have done a few cosmetic renos (flooring, baseboards and trim, bathroom and windows). The room was clean. It had a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot and toaster (all in working order). There were two bedrooms. The beds were comfy (a little soft for me) with nice bedding that smelled good. The air condition was a portable one and was a bit loud, but worked well. Overall, it was amazing for the price. I would definitely recommend it. Just remember you are staying in an older motel and go in with the right attitude. The staff was lovely!

This is an older small motel on the side of the highway run by a super friendly couple. The rooms are clean, cozy and have everything you could possibly need. All for a far better rate than fancier chain hotels. Other reviews state it was noisy but no one in the family found it noisy. Chain hotels are far noisier with people walking down hallways and thumping on the floor above. This location is definitely a hidden jewel and a real bargain. I LOVE being able to support a small business!🙂

The very friendly owners of this property have made some improvements since my last vist a year ago. We were given a newly renovated room with a new bathroom that was absolutely sparkiling clean! There is also a decent sized fridge which was a step up from mpst motel mini fridges. Great value for the price.
