Breakfast was the shining star, the room was not. Beds were noisy when just rolling over. Only light in the bathroom was a bad mirror light which made showing feel like I was in a cave. Door lock was old (minor I know). Biggest thing was the AC/heater unit - it was super loud and would click on multiple times during the night. On top of that when the curtains were closed they covered the vents of the unit so all the air would blow up the curtains at the window instead of in the room. TV was small but at least it was connected to the internet to watch YouTube.

The gentleman that checked us in wasn't very friendly but he did get my message about extra pillows in our room which were there. It looks like the property was updated but didn't seem like it was done well. Our tub drain was rust stained and there was a washcloth left in the bathroom from the last occupants. There was a lot to chose from for breakfast though and it seems as though they spaced out people staying there as our room was quiet, maybe a room between us and the next people which was great!

The front desk service team during the day of my check in was terribly rude and even today when I had to call the hotel regarding an extra charge, they showed utter ignorance which I believe is a terrible attitude. Otherwise the room was clean and comfy with good environment. Somehow the interactions with staff kind of spoiled the trip.

Not very impressed with this hotel. The location was close to family members we were visiting, but that is about it. The hotel itself was decent, but not great. The HVAC unit was quite loud when it ran, and the temperature was set too high. The television was barely functional. The only thing we could do with the remote was to change channels. We could not control volume, nor could we turn the TV on or off using the remote. The bathroom was only OK. The tub stains had rust near the drain, and the walls near the tub surround appeared to be water-damaged. There was only a soap tray, and no other shelf for bath amenities.

Wifi was very difficult to connect to, TV wouldn't hardly work/cord connection bad. Breakfast wasn't very good. Outer room door had damage.

The hotel was fine, no complaints about the property, room, and amenities. The front desk staff was absolutely rude!!!! Im not sure what the staff name was but he was on duty 6pm on 2/17. He talked over the customer that he was with asking us our name before he was finished with the person in front of him. I spoke, he ignored me, looked at my partner asked again for our names. I, the paying customer responsed. When he was finally done with customer in front ofbhim. He asked again to my partner, "what is the name on the reservation" I responsed again. Than he finally acknowledged me and proceeded to be rude to me the entire check in. I have stayed at La quinta Inn before. so I know they could do better. My stay was fine, but that staff made me never want go back to this Laquinta Inn.
