Stunning location, amazing accommodation with breathtaking sea views. Polite, helpful and friendly staff. There is nothing I can fault. Def recommend 💯

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Last year in a regular room and this year in one of the suites. Both great! The hotel is wonderful; the rooms are comfortable and clean, overlook the beautiful lake. Breakfast is lovely, great restaurant for lunch if wanting something simple, no dinner is offered but great places to eat nearby. Bar available all the time. The hotel is right over the lake, the water perfect for swimming. The area is perfect for traveling and only 45 minutes from the airport.

We enjoyed very much our stayed. - Amazing lake view. Peaceful and quiet. The sun came is to the room every morning to wake you up to welcome a new beautiful day. - Very nice location and not many tourist around. - 5’ by car to Arona central and 12’ by car to go and visit the ferry port to go visits Isola Madre island… - The hotel itself is beautiful, room is clean with a little balcony perfectly for drinks and watch sunrise and sunset. - Restaurant area is face directly to the lake. Amazing - Nice breakfast ❤️❤️

This hotel offers a stunning view over the Lake Maggiore. There is also a mini pool for those who prefer closed water (4 people maximum). The city of Meina has nothing to visit itself, but the hotel is located at 5mn drive from Arona where there are multiple restaurants and activities to do during the day. There are free and secure parking spaces (both indoor and outdoor). The hotel also offers an EV charger for the price if €40 per night (pretty expensive as there is a cheap public fast charger nearby, but still useful 😂). The rooms were clean and all have a terrace. An advise would be to choose a lake-view room as the others are located just over a national road with a lot of traffic. The front staff is kind and provided good restaurant recommendations.

Booked whilst driving to Venice and was not disappointed, rooms are spacious and clean, bed is huge and very comfy. Plenty of covered parking, great breakfast and price was excellent. Staff and service were excellent. Views over the lake are priceless.

I really liked this hotel. It ticked all the boxes….nice clean double room and bathroom, superb view overlooking the lake, friendly and helpful staff, ferry boat docks five minutes away, restaurants close by, secure parking all at a reasonable price.

My husband, adult son and I stayed here on June 4, 2022, the night before flying back home to the U.S. Why stay at a non-descript, expensive airport hotel when you can enjoy one more glorious day of vacation right on Lago Maggiore at the Hotel Bel Sit in Meina. Located on the Lago Maggiore coast road, it was only 45 minutes from the airport on an early Sunday morning. We stayed in the triple room Suite 1 on the ground floor around the corner from the reception area, lounge, and outdoor dining area. Suite 1 might be their largest unit. The views from our room and balcony were beautiful. We kept the sliding door open as we slept and enjoyed hearing the white noise of the gentle waves. This triple room had ample space. My son indicated that his single bed was comfortable. All 3 of us slept well. The staff helped us print our boarding passes and were very friendly. We drove 2 hours from Verona to Hotel Bel Sit in Meina. When we arrived, we enjoyed a tasty pasta with pesto and a sandwich on their outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The "beach" is not a sandy beach but a grassy area with ample loungers. Later we ordered drinks from the bar to enjoy on our private balcony. There was ample parking space in the front, under or across the street from the hotel. The staff we encountered all spoke fluent English, but they also had the patience and courtesy to speak with me in Italian; they did not switch to English which I appreciated. In Stresa, a 15-20 minute drive north from the hotel on the lakeshore road, we enjoyed walking the lakeside promenade and having an excellent dinner at Il Vicoletto (have the hotel make restaurant reservations before you arrive; other Stresa restaurants were fully booked). Had we arrived earlier we would've taken a boat from Stresa to Isola Bella and the other islands. Our flight to the U.S. was scheduled to depart Malpensa at 10:40am on a Sunday morning. Sunday was a great day to have a flight. We left the Hotel Bel Sit at 6:45am and headed up the hill to the autostrada A26. There were very few cars on the autostrada at this time. We found a gas station about 10km north of the airport on the right side of the road leading to the airport. Before leaving Meina, we entered the Sheraton Malpensa Hotel on my phone's google maps for directions. As you approach the Sheraton Malpensa Hotel, you will see signs to the car hire return. About 10 meters past the Sheraton Malpensa Hotel, take a right and go up the ramp into the car rental return adjacent to terminal 1. Easy peasy. Hotel Bel Sit provides a resort experience with phenomenal views, comfortable, clean quiet rooms, tasty food and drink, helpful English-speaking staff, at a reasonable price with easy access to Stresa and the Malpensa Airport. We stayed at many places during our 2-week trip to Matera, Puglia, Lago di Garda, and Verona. My husband, who never praises hotels, would have liked to stay here 2 more days to relax.
