Super 8 by Wyndham Sulphur Lake Charles

Basic. Staff was nice. The rooms looked recently renovated but nothing special or high quality. The beds were too hard and 3 of the 4 complained of back pain and being uncomfortable making sleep restless. But I wouldn’t be writing a review if the hard bed was the only problem. But beware they allow loitering homeless people. Both days of our stay we saw homeless people come in and help themselves to the breakfast. Not just taking a piece of fruit but cooking multiple waffles, pouring all (yea every last drop) of the syrup in a cup and leaving with it, taking all but 2 or 3 yogurts and the rest of the fruit. This required multiple trips and no one said anything. The afternoon of the first day the woman who took all the food was there in the public restroom in the lobby bathing in the sink. I’m not against people having food and access to restrooms but when I paying for a place to stay I expect to feel safe and I did not.

Business Trip. I Had Several Problem From Checking-In To Super 8 Hotel, I Gave The Front Desk Clerk My DL And Credit Card For Reservation Confirmation. The Front Desk Clerk Made An Issue Due To The Billing Address Of Credit Card. I Quickly Gave Them My Passport ID For Secondary Proof. I Made Point To Ask Of The Super 8 Name Change Which Physically Had Another Name Quality Inn. Several Room Key Cards Didn't Work For The Entire Stay. TV Was Set-Up To View During Stay. No Elevators For Rooms Just Stairwell & Ice Machine Was Not Working. General A Very Negative Experience For The Entire Stay.

close to where i work save my time, room clean & limited food option nearby. girl working front office in afternoon helped me with directions and quick check in. no full breakfast only serving coffee, juice & pastry.
