It's a hotel with a very resort feel. It's clean, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel is in Xincheng, a bit far from the historical park. This is a bad point. Everything else is good. When going to the historical park by car, you should use Grap. Tutu randomly shouts prices. More expensive than grap.

If you want to be near the park, this isn’t it. There arent staff on hand and we have to search for them. The rooms were clean. But the lights outside the rooms made it seem like daylight when we tried to sleep. Dogs barked all night. Construction was happening, so the pool was hard to access.

Location is probably main plus for Pai Sukothai resort with it's relative close location to the centre of the town. The night market area is literally a 5 minute walk away and even closer there's a bunch of nice restaurants and bars to chill out at after a day exploring. The bus terminal is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuk tuk ride away. Not all staff speak English, none of them when we arrived, which caused a bit of confusion as they couldn't find our booking. But a phone call sorted it all out and we were checked in. Breakfast was good with some mornings the option to choose from a few set menu options and other mornings the same ingredients where available in buffet form (probably because they had much more people staying that night). The room was spacious and cleaned every day, bed was comfortable and large and there was even a sofa in the room. Only thing that isn't as glamorous as the photos anymore is the swimming pool area. Still able to swim if you want and clean just a little more run down than the pictures. Still think this is a great option if you're planning to stay in Sukothai.

The hotel is small, and somewhat hidden on a narrow street behind a 7-11 in new Sukhothai. Google maps got us there easily. I had to call the displayed phone number to get someone to open the locked entrance door. Once inside, all was well and they gave us a room key plus an electronic key to access the door to the street. The room we got was clean and cheery and there was a hot water maker and refrigerator. Our 5-year old enjoyed the pool with me but the water is too deep for small children to be in safely without an adult. Breakfast was good and they made a very tasty coffee.
