Very comfortable spotless accommodation for our week in Suffolk. Excellent breakfasts served by Karen with a wide and plentiful choice. Plenty to see from here, including The Red House (home of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears), Snape Maltings, Sutton Hoo and superb gardens at Helmingham Hall. A good choice of restaurants in Aldeburgh.

Karen, who owns the Tirah Guest House made us feel so welcome. We were both sick with colds and she sent meals to our room and sent us on our way with fresh fruit. The entire property is lovely, immaculately clean and spotless and well appointed. The bedding was especially luscious - very high quality. The breakfasts were delicious and provided many choices for all different dietary needs. We would return and highly recommend it.

Recently stayed at Tirah for two nights, having stayed there some years ago. Just as good now. Clean pleasant room with comfy bed. Welcoming host and great breakfast. A few minutes drive to Aldeburgh. Definitely recommend staying at Tirah

Karen was a welcoming and friendly host. The property was immaculate and beautifully furnished. There was a wide range of breakfast options including an excellent cooked breakfast or smoked salmon with scrambled egg. I would positively recommend staying here.

Very comfortable rooms. Clean with all you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast choice covered our needs plus more. Had visited before and was still up to our memories of the previous visit. Found the stay very enjoyable, quiet and peaceful, beds nice and comfortable. Will recommend to anyone traveling to this area of our lovely north coast.

Superb B n B. A lovely warm welcome from Karen who made sure we had everything we needed. The room (8) was spotlessly clean. The super king size bed was so comfortable with lovely quality linen and pillows. We also had two very comfortable armchairs for watching the good size television. The shower was powerful and lovely products provided with nice big towels. There was a kettle and a mini fridge with a generous selection of teas and coffees. The highlight of our two night stay, however, was the lovely breakfast, The first day we had traditional English breakfast and the second day we had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Both were absolutely delicious and served in a lovely modern kitchen dining room. This was the perfect base for us to explore Suffolk for the weekend. I would highly recommend.

Tirah Guest House is truly the nicest place we have stayed. Karen our host was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble at breakfast where there was an excellent selection including delicious locally sourced sausages. She also gave us some recommendations of places to visit. Our room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and quality bedding. Great parking space and perfectly located between Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. We would highly recommend Tirah and hope to return ourselves one day.

Tirah is an amazing bed and breakfast - very clean throughout and comfortably decorated. We had a room at the back which was very quiet and overlooked a beautiful rose garden which Karen was more than happy for guests to sit in and enjoy. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom with a lovely en-suite. Comfortable large bed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a large choice of fresh ingredients. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
