I stayed here i enjoyed this stay.
I did boil the ketrle.and that just before leaving . Dr otteker i added as the water cam be dubiiois .the demand for this water is high so i add a cleaner and i passed the water via a brita style filter .
Its nice for comlan.
The riom is cold fpr.me this is super i need cold as heat can might may be bad news?

Then it seems the kettle was not on a trip circuit tp syop a nlown fuse in the plug of thr ketyel it been a notmality to have a kettel over flow. I diid not shower as i found the amount of wayer is difficult to.keep many areas as this in constant sypply

We were there for a wedding renewal of vows. It was absolutely the best place they chose. Food was great. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated along with private parking and rooms.

We went for carvery as it was recommended to us, honestly it was awful. Unprofessional service, as we tried to pay our bill, the waiter was openly having a conversation about inappropriate things to another customer in front of us, leaving us waiting. The condition of the food was similar to a primary school dinner, mushy veg, potatoes that looked and tasted like play doh, lumpy gravy which was obviously just made with gravy granules (and not mixed well) . I had two different meats, gammon and turkey. The turkey slice was thin and poor quality, and they gave me a huge, thick slice of gammon, completely out of proportion. I’m not normally one to leave bad reviews, but even my partner who eats anything, hated it and we had to leave after a few mouthfuls.

Three of us met for a lighter lunch and two of us ordered from the set lunch fixed menu pointing to it as we ordered. However the bill was presented showing all dishes charged at the higher rates from the a la carte menu. To avoid embarrassment with friends the full bill was paid but a warning to other diners to watch out for this devious tactic

Room smelt of cigarette smoke. Bathroom appeared clearn at first glance but there were lots of hairs on the floor and around the toilet. Shower temperature was erratic. No convenient plug sockets to dry hair.

We stayed in the Georgian Suite which was a massive surprise to me! Apparently, I got it quite cheap! Absolutely lovely. It was an annexe from the main pub and was just luxurious. The pub was lovely - good ales and the people we met there were fantastic. I could not recommend this more. Oh, the breakfast was great too, just a little too much for me. Thank you, Charlie and your staff.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
The noise from the pub was horrific. Didn't realise a family room would be directly above noise until so late. Doesn't mention this in the details- wish I had read the reviews!!
Wasn't clean.
Room was Freezing- Gail force winds coming through the windows.
Even when the noise eventually stopped could hear the people shouting out the front.

My partner and I have stayed in long melford at another hotel down the road many times ,but thought this time we would have a change and give here a try .we had been driving for 6hours so thought we would book here ,I used my debit card not a problem all went through.on arrival we were welcomed by a young woman to be then asked she needed a credit card to book in ,we thought she was joking no she said you need a credit card but I don't have one ,she said anyone's will do ,we were so shocked ,we were then told we couldn't stay ,so after a 6 hour drive we had to find another hotel .we were told it's in the very small print .Never heard of this ,after reading the reviews glad I didnt stay .
