The rooms are adequate but in need of updating, it seems like some things were replaced but the bathrooms are older. The bed was rather too firm to sleep on comfortably and the bedding was a bit austere. Added to this, there was noise at 4-5am, but not sure where it came from. The parking filled up very rapidly and we had to park under the hotel. Breakfast was included and had a good variety.

Location wise, this hotel is perfect. Breakfast was ok, not anything noteworthy. Our biggest concern is lack of soundproofing. We were not happy that we got disturbing noises inside our room all night long.

We had an overnight stay here whilst on a motorcycle tour, easily located with ample parking. A modern hotel with excellent facilities and well appointed rooms. Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. Hotel is an easy five minutes walk from the town centre but is in a quiet location and we got a very good nights sleep

Wir verbrachten hier eine Nacht, bevor wir am nächsten Morgen nach Borkum gefahren sind. Die Lage ist gut, die Zimmer sind eher nüchtern eingerichtet. Im Bad war sehr wenig Ablagefläche. Zum Frühstück gab es schöne Körnerbrötchen und Heringssalat.

Essen im Restaurant nicht 4 Sterne! Besser ein Restaurant in der Stadt wählen! Bratkartoffeln nicht zumutbar, keine Scheiben oder Stücke, z.T. verbrannt. Die zwei Schollen waren nicht in der Pfanne (wie sonst in Ostfriesland üblich) gebraten, sondern scheinbar in heißem Fett frittiert! Nicht zu empfehlen.

Parkplätze gibt es neben dem Gebäude. Trotz früher Ankunft hat die engagierte Rezeption bereits ein Zimmer für mich. Es ist geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Der Schrank mit Safe verfügt über Stauraum auch für längere Aufenthalte. Der Schreibtisch bietet genügend Platz zum Arbeiten. Das TV hat eine unzeitgemäß niedrige Bildauflösung, aber Radio und Sleeptimer. Das stabile WLAN erlaubt Streaming. Das kompakte, blitzsaubere Bad verfügt über Anlagefläche für maximal eine Person. Gäste mit Frisur sollten unbedingt ihren eigenen Föhn mitbringen. Leider hatte ich keine Zeit, die schön gestaltete Sauna zu testen. Die Emdener Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist hervorragend bestückt. Neben Filterkaffee gibt es Kaffee- und Eierspezialitäten auf Bestellung. Hatten hier 4 Übernachtungen inkl. 2 x 4-Gängemenü und Frühstücksbufett. Da ich Vegetarierin bin, wurde auf Änderungswünsche schnell eingegangen. Veganer*innen hätten es allerdings schwer gehabt. Allerdings bin ich der Meinung, das sollte mittlerweile überall Standard sein. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes großes Zimmer mit kleinem Vorraum und funktionalem Bad. Alles sehr sauber und modern.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel - in 10 Minuten zu Fuß ist man im Zentrum , alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich, die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank
