This boutique hotel is fabulously located in the heart of Sucre in a colonial mansion. Our room had a lovely view of the interior courtyard and the rooftops of Sucre beyond. The room itself was tastefully styled with local, artworks, decorated bedsteads and colourful tapestries. A nice breakfast room on (I think) the sixth floor which had fabulous views over Sucre. The hotel team were very friendly and always helpful. A lovely place to stay in a lovely town.

Pros: Great location, all the main attractions are about a 10-15 minute walk Delicious and extensive breakfast with some Bolivian specialties (don't miss the purple corn drink and view from the dining room) Very comfortable bed WiFi worked well Cons: The breakfast hours are bit confusing, the front desk and sign on the door says 7:30 am but the doors are open much earlier with guests done by start time. We had a early start for day trip so we requested early breakfast; we were provided with a basic breakfast in our room the night before. We appreciated the breakfast in room but the seated breakfast was far superior.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Well located, about a 15-minute walk to the main square on a quiet street with a beautiful courtyard. Property very secure, main door locked at all times. Reception desk staffed with lovely people who provide access as required. Fridge, safe, and coffee (charge for the coffee pods). No air conditioning, but rooms cooled quickly at night with a window open (no bugs). No elevator if you have a room on the 2nd or third floor. Breakfast was a delight. Third floor location gives you great views. Supper is available in the same location, and there is a small bar on the ground floor across from the reception. From traditional blue corn drink to coffee options, a live station with the fluffiest scrambled eggs I've ever eaten, fruit, pastries, and an assortment of bread.

Very beautiful colonial building with updated rooms and very safe. Beautiful gardens. Incredibly friendly staff. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars was that there are no fans in the rooms and some rooms receive a lot of afternoon sun and you need to leave the door and windows open to cool it down. The bar Chicheria only opened at 6:30 but that is common in Bolivia as most people work 8-12 and 3- ?? This hotel is very close to everything you want to see in the city. We would definitely stay here again. Great restaurant, too and it is open and not temporarily closed as listed on Trip Advisor.

We loved this place. The colonial style is lovely and the staff are all excellent. We had a nice check in and our room was comfortable and spacious. We wished we had two nights here instead of just once because it was so nice. The decor is interesting as well. The only downside is that the kitchen/dining room seemed to be short staffed when we ate dinner there. It took two hours for us to eat and all we ordered we main dishes and drinks--in fact, they had to stop seating people because they had gotten so far behind. The food was really tasty, though. And the views from the restaurant over the city are terrific. Breakfast, however, rolled along fine with lots of selections, made-to-order foods, and even loose leaf tea and a variety of coffees! We were happy with this place and would love to return.

Charming hotel, beautifully done, and well-maintained. For those that appreciate history, a sense of place, and appreciation for the authentic. Of note was the kindness and hospitality of its management and staff. Andres Petersen Bernal, many thanks for going over and above by opening your breakfast service so early in the morning just for us. A deed we will always remember.

The hotel is very beautiful and has several small garden/terrace areas as communal spaces. The restaurant has beautiful views of the city. We had a comfortable stay but disliked all the woollen bedding covers as that is extremely hard to clean in between guests and I wonder if they do, so it just made me feel uncomfortable although everything appeared clean. Sheets/pillow cases were all regular linen. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries as I am always sceptical of small hotel own branded toiletries. They were very gracious in opening up breakfast early for us on our day of departure and they serve a lovely and ample breakfast. They have a lovely downstairs bar but we did not like the drinks we chose. Very centrally located and a short walk from the main square.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the center of Sucre. My boyfriend and I loved our time here and cannot wait to return. The charm of the hotel was apparent immediately from walking through the front tours, with beautiful gardens and a gorgeous rooftop view of Sucre. The restaurant and breakfast were fabulous as well. We had one dinner at the hotel that was incredible, with wonderful service as well as delicious food. We could not get over the hospitality and service provided to us by staff. All of these things made this hotel so memorable to us and we cannot wait to return! Gracias a los empleados a Hotel Boutique Mi Pueblo Samary por todo que hicieron, vamos a volver pronto.
