We stayed three nights in Villa la Ginestra while on a first visit to the area to plan a family reunion. Our stay was delightful in every way and Federico, whose family house this is, is a generous, helpful and kind host. He is also a wonderful cook and deeply knowledgeable about the region. All of his recommendations for activities, food and wine were excellent and practical. Federico is someone who is determined to do things well while always focussing on his guests' comfort. The rooms, house and garden are all very clean and comfortable, and all was quiet. Everything was exactly as advertised. If he is available to do so, Federico will prepare a lovely dinner. Advance notice is required, as he prepares everything fresh. The location is convenient for exploring a beautiful region.

If you want a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, in an enchanting place (with a swimming pool among other things) near Arezzo, here is la ginestra: it will be your place ❤️, the owner is the top 🔝 for hospitality, kindness, he welcomes the customer as few can do: he is ready to satisfy your every request... breakfasts prepared by him are delicious, coffee offered, and kindly brought even in the middle of the morning. I highly recommend it... I hope to return soon...😍😍

After an extremely suggestive sunset on the Libbia road, we arrive late in the evening at Villa La Ginestra, a villa surrounded by greenery. We find Federico welcoming us, who with cordiality and kindness makes us sit in a very comfortable room of the beautiful residence he manages. The furnishings are stimulating and never banal (a selection of books in different environments stands out, always very welcome). Cleanliness is excellent, relaxation guaranteed. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast prepared by Federico himself, a selection of very high quality desserts (the tart was excellent) served in the garden near the beautiful swimming pool which we did not use due to lack of time. If you need information on what to see in the surrounding area, Federico can direct you towards the hidden beauties of Casentino. So many words in this review, to simply tell you: highly recommended!

Bellissima struttura a due passi dalla splendida Arezzo. Impagabile la stufa a legna davanti alla quale abbiamo passato rilassandoci tutte le tre serate. Wat een fantastisch huis en een waanzinnig mooie tuin waar we van mochten genieten! Federico is een perfecte gastheer en is altijd bereid om te adviseren en te Helen bij vragen. We hebben genoten van het zwembad, de mooie verzorgde kamers en de zeer goed toegeruste keuken. Volgend jaar komen we zeker terug. Het was een geweldige week door deze prachtige locatie, de rust en de parkachtige tuin. Je voelt dat dit met veel liefde wordt onderhouden en gedeeld.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questa villa per un lungo periodo...le fresche serate trascorse seduti in poltrona ad ascoltare un CD o leggere uno dei libri della casa, le colazioni nel prato al sole, il verde delle piante, il corniolo rosa in fiore, le foglie delle piante spuntate col passare dei giorni....sono ricordi unici!!! A 10 km da Arezzo la villa offre un mondo ovattato in cui rifugiarsi...pulitissima, arredata con gusto, dotata di ogni comfort, cucina attrezzatissima (oltre ogni aspettativa), 4 grandi camere, di cui 2 comunicanti adattissime a famiglie...un parco immenso con piscina e barbecue... E soprattutto un padrone di casa, Federico, di una gentilezza fuori dal comune...attentissimo a ogni nostra minima esigenza! Con noi era presente una persona disabile e, grazie a Federico, il soggiorno è stato comodo e pratico anche per lei. Sarebbe bello scoprire la villa anche in estate, con la piscina in funzione... Una villa da vivere
