During our recent hotel stay, we encountered several challenges that warrant attention. On May 10th, around 6 PM, we reported Wi-Fi issues to a staff member. Although her initial response was not very cooperative, she did arrange for a technician. The technician informed us that the TV was limited to news channels and suggested using our own data for other services, which made us question the value of the amenities provided. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, though it did offer an unexpected opportunity to reconnect with each other in person.
The breakfast buffet was advertised as featuring Chinese cuisine, yet apart from the pau, authentic Chinese dishes were lacking, which was disappointing given our expectations. Additionally, one of the muffins tasted strange and seemed stale, with a blackish side that didn't resemble a banana muffin.
While dining, a strand of hair was found in the nasi lemak. We immediately informed the head chef, who acknowledged the mistake and apologized.
The bathroom door was inconvenient, making it difficult to close the toilet properly.
On a positive note, the hotel's location within the mall was a major advantage, offering easy access to various shops and amenities.
As for a future stay, we will need to weigh these experiences carefully before deciding.
