The shower stops working after about 15 minutes. This happened repeatedly, so it's not a coincidence. The front desk staff can speak some English, so it's not a problem to arrange a taxi, etc. But be careful when you use the restaurant. They don't understand English, but they say ”OK” and everything. Even if you only ask about a menu item, they think it's an order and bring it to you. So I recommend that you double-check what you order yourself. On the last day, I had them book a limousine bus to the airport. I booked a bus at 7:00am, and they took me to the bus stop, but the bus actually arrived at 7:40am. This was not their fault, but when you book a bus, it might be better to arrange a reliable limousine bus yourself. It's unfortunate that this happened, but the staff are all kind and polite. I hope they do better, so I'm rooting for them. Thank you.

The staff are very warm and helpful. There is a wooden bath in a clean inn and you can relax. For those who want to soak in nature. We had such a lovely stay at the Sapa Farmstay! The local family running the establishment is warm, friendly, and hospitable. We ate dinner with them twice—the food was beyond delicious and fresh, and I loved the family-style atmosphere during mealtime. The rooms were just like the photos: comfy, clean, and well-decorated, with plenty of hotel-style amenities! The only minor drawback was the hot water…it was quite cold in Sapa during our visit in January, and the hot water never lasted more than 3 minutes or so during showers. This was a minor issue, though, and we will for sure re-book when we return to Sapa again!
