We spent two nights in this hotel in one of the suburbs/villages of Stuttgart. The hotel is fairly easy to reach by public transport (U- or S-bahn) and a short (5min) walk and is located in a quiet office area. After having checked in, we were given a room but when we arrived at the room the bathroom was full of dirty towels, so we went back to reception and were given another room. This second room was clean from the inside, but its balcony was dirty, including a dirty ashtray. In fact, we would prefer to not have any ashtrays at all, also not on balconies (as smoke from one balcony can still easily blow into a neighbouring room). After some time, our balcony was cleaned though. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the airco worked well without making too much noise. Staff were friendly and helpful, but at times it felt like the hotel was understaffed (for example reception was often not staffed, also during the day). We also had breakfast at the hotel, which was okay with a reasonable selection of foods and drinks. It would have been nice if there had been a bit more choice of food and drink items, including some more local specialties. A nice gesture was that all guests received complimentary ice-creams upon check-in.

I booked one night only in Ibis Stuttgart Centrum for the Christmas market. I chose this for the location , quite easy to reach by walking and also by metro. Hotel is situated in Marienplatz , I walked to the hotel in about 20 minutes from central station which is well connected with S2 to and from Stuttgart Airport ( single ticket costs 2,90 euro ). The hotel is ok , but not refurbished as most of them now are , I needed only for one night , so didn't matter. Staff speak English as well and were fine , I did not have breakfast , they do only snack/bar Panini 24/7, no restaurant on site. Nearby the hotel you can find a supermarket , and other shops to buy food; also down the road , a short walk, you have the shopping avenue . The room was facing a back yard and it was very silent and calm.

The best thing about the Astoria is really the location, right in the city centre on Hospitalstrasse. One of my favourite places to stay when in Stuttgart it is very central to all the main attractions in the city and close enough to rail tram bus links.. its always a pleasure to stay when I'm on town.... I always recommend highly when anyone I know come to visit..

We cannot say enough good things about the location and the service here! So, if you are still figuring out which hotel to pick in Stuttgart, look no further and choose the Hampton Inn. You will be so glad you did… the beds are super comfy and you get fresh air, an amazing breakfast, and the Wi-Fi and water pressure are excellent too.

was cheap compared to central Stuttgart and if you like Porsche you will love the location plus train 5 min walk away. Great vending machine really reasonable and could get coffee and snacks. Reception very polite and took decent size though I could smell sewerage in the bathroom often. I didn’t like the fact it's absolutely no where near any coffee shop, bar or anything apart from offices and a gorgeous bakery only open Monday to Friday Sieffels. just around the corner plus at weekends trains are every half hour not great when you are tired. Few times had to close the window at 6am as people in the courtyard talking real loud. Check out is 12 noon however this guy cleaner opened the door to our friends bedroom as they were leaving One last thing don’t even think about UBER taxis or taxis they are megga expensive cost is 40 euros for a 6Km journey plus 88 euros from the airport to this hotel.

The hotel has had some recent renovations but unfortunately they used direct stick carpet which made the floor very hard. It's fairly close to everything, local train will take you into the town center, approximately 15 minutes. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was OK but the shower was small. It was unusual to find that the bar and restaurant were both closed . However, close by there is a supermarket where you can buy just about anything. There are also many local restaurants withing walking distance. The gentleman on the afternoon shift was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. Another positive note, is that the hotel is walking distance to the Porsche Museum, which is a must see.

We stayed three nights here, the hotel has rooms that are all the effects of the mini apartments, with a kitchen corner for anyone who wants to do something at home. The atmosphere is beautiful, it seems to be in Rio! The structure is modern and well furnished, the bathroom is completely immersed in a minimal atmosphere with the Bluetooth mirror and the walls decorated as angles of Amazon forest, the corridor feels the birds' bells when you pass. The hotel is located just a few steps away from the city centre, but the metro stop is a metro stop, which is easy to reach every destination. Breakfast is very different with typical Brazilian products. Go on, you will not regret it!

Hotel with shared bathrooms, there is a translation error that can make it suppose there are private bathrooms in every room but that is not the case, the bathrooms are shared for each floor and there is a shared shower with all on the second floor.
Rooms with private bathroom are also available with a surprice.
It is a little peripheral but not too far from a metro stop, so it is easy to move and reach the center.

The hotel gave me the feeling that I had lived glory times, as if it had been of some importance, this for details of furniture and services in the rooms that once had to offer greater comfort. The size of the room is spectacular: really large room with living room, desk and balcony with table and chairs. The style of the room and its furniture are still remitted to other times, but still today they are well kept except for the moquette,consumed and maquillated both inside the room and in the corridor. The bathroom was probably put in hand in a more recent time than the room but the construction was made with extremely cheap materials and you see a lot;instead of the shower there was a date-date hydromassage bath and I don't think it worked. The hotel has been very close to the hotel, but the bathroom has been functional to what it needed; it is very negative to note the lack of a vacuum cleaner. As for breakfast, there was everything and for all tastes, even though quality did not enthusiasm me.

AAndy GWe had preciously stayed at the Aloft in Munich, and were impressed enough to choose the Aloft chain again for a recent short visit to Stuttgart. We were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the UBahn (one stop from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of stops away from the main centre) and is part of a new shopping complex with a range of stores and eating outlets. Facilities are modern, clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff, all of whom went out of their way to look after our needs. One of our party was without vital medication, and hotel reception took the trouble both to identify the best local medical centre to obtain a prescription and to give detailed directions for finding it. We would certainly stay here again for future visits to the city.

GGuest UserPositive things first : - Fast elevators - Big Room - Lots of seating possibilities in room - Bathroom with shower separate from Toilet - Big bed - Nice lightning - Lots of storage Now the negative things: - Can't close the curtains properly - so it's quite light ( especially as the building in front of us had the lights on... ( maybe add some clips on the wall where we could clip the curtains in ). - Very soft pillows ( like really soft xD ) - It wasn't mentioned anywhere that the Parking is NOT in the same building. Really inconvenient as you have to walk over a high speed big street, then 2 floor down to find your car - not really ideal if with Luggage or if you have difficulties to walk. Otherwise it was a great stay :)

GGuest UserWe stayed here as our usual hotel was fully booked On the main street with free car parking on street after 6pm at night until 8am in the morning . Hotel does have its own car parking but charges 15 euros a night and as we arrived after 6pm and departed by 8am no point in paying when you can park on the street It was very hot when we stayed and we were surprised to find that such a modern hotel did not have air-conditioning. We were provided with a fan for our room which I have to say without one the room would have been unbearable to sleep in Breakfast was fine the next day usual selection of breads, cheeses, meats etc Would we stay again? Probably not due to excessive heat in the room

GGuest UserDas Familienzimmer 261 war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Qualität der Matratzen ist dem Preis entsprechend nicht perfekt, aber reicht für einen kurzen Trip. Ansonsten treffen in diesem Hotel verschiedenste Gruppen aufeinander. Wir hatten Glück und konnten direkt vor der Tür parken. Der Parkplatz an der Straße kostet 10,30€ pro Tag. Das Frühstück kostet 9,30€ und ist für einen guten Start in den Tag komplett ausreichend. Man sollte auch hier keine Wunder erwarten. Die U-Bahn fährt direkt um die Ecke. Um Stuttgart zu erkunden würde ich eine Fahrkarte empfehlen. Ich hatte kaum Erwartungen und war deshalb nicht enttäuscht.

GGuest UserReception person was nice enough. Spoke to the ”Chef” a day or so prior to check-in - requested and was given a front facing, lower floor room. Upon check-in given a 3rd room floor with NO couch (where the couch should be) and no chair. Back to reception; given a 5th floor room with SAME result; back to reception. Given a 6th floor room which at least had a chair where the couch should have been - I'll stay here buuuuut mini fridge inop as was the Thermostat. Bathroom water pressure was dismal with no condiments; good I always bring my own. BTW exiting the elevator on the 6th floor: lights were out in the hallway and as I always check the stairway, also dark, told reception who called maintenance who solved the problem.

GGuest UserRoom was ok, great for the price but nothing special. No refrigerator or air conditioning so room got very hot. Also was the first hotel I’ve stayed at where you had to pay for a late checkout, but we were only using it to sleep then was out traveling the town and visiting the Porsche museum the whole day so for that purpose it was worth the price.

GGuest UserThe reception was closed everywhere on Sunday, although it was closed. The rooms were very clean, the rooms were very well arranged, the washroom was clean. We stayed four people. The room was very enough. The parking is also a big advantage. Also as a price is very good. I won't say anything about breakfast because we didn't prefer to make breakfast at the hotel. Recommended.
