when we arrived, hardly any reception staff on duty. When we saw our room, we were shocked, it was small and gloomy with a display case (bizarrely) showing snacks! The light to the display case is joined to the room lighting so can be switched off separately. Reception advised nothing could be done, so we said we would leave and I contacted a hotel we had stayed at the start of our holiday, the stay in the Steigenberger was our last night in Germany. Reception then said we could be upgraded, by this time it was late and very heavy rain. The upgrade room seemed OK but when we used the TV, it kept switching itself off! Breakfast was abysmal, a dreary pub overlooking the entrance to an underpass. Initially, we didn't know where the food was and no staff around to direct us. When we found the food, it had clearly been sitting out for some time, there was a huge quantity of food considering only one person was there when we arrived and only 2 others came as we were leaving. We stayed in this hotel some years ago when the breakfast room was upstairs and there were lots of guests and staff who were interested in providing good service. It was disapoointing to see how lacklustre the hotel has become and difficult understand how it has kept its star rating, the hotel is not to the usual Steigenberger standard.

Very satisfied with this new hotel with high cost performance, design, comfort and location. The room is large, with a very high floor height, harmonious colors, user-friendly design and reasonable layout. It's very convenient to go anywhere. This is the only hotel in this trip that gave me the room type I booked without any negotiation. Because I found that in Europe, as long as you are Chinese, you will usually be downgraded to a smaller or worse room type if you pay extra for a good room type. In the end, you have to go to the front desk to negotiate to get the room type you reserved. This hotel is the only hotel that didn't bully me this time and directly booked me a room type. It must be rated as five stars! Another tip, if you don’t speak English well, when booking a room in Europe, book a basic room. Don’t pay extra to book a different room type, because if nothing else, they will definitely give you a worse room type. This is based on my experience. , this time I booked a 1-1 night stay, but there were only 3 attempts to change rooms without re-negotiation, which made my stay very frustrating. On other days, I have to negotiate at the front desk every day, which is very tiring!

We had preciously stayed at the Aloft in Munich, and were impressed enough to choose the Aloft chain again for a recent short visit to Stuttgart. We were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the UBahn (one stop from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of stops away from the main centre) and is part of a new shopping complex with a range of stores and eating outlets. Facilities are modern, clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff, all of whom went out of their way to look after our needs. One of our party was without vital medication, and hotel reception took the trouble both to identify the best local medical centre to obtain a prescription and to give detailed directions for finding it. We would certainly stay here again for future visits to the city.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the hotel is neat and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful at all times and the breakfast was excellent.
But:
When charging the electric car, a blocking fee is charged, which was not mentioned anywhere. In addition, the hotel charges a parking space fee. This does not meet my expectations of fairness and transparency.

We were only staying here one night and chose this hotel as it seemed to be in a good location for visiting the Mercedes Benz and Porsche Museums. We had stayed at other Adina Hotels and enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, can't say the same about this one. For a start it was difficult to find. Our GPS was giving us the runaround. Finally, we saw a temporary banner displayed indicating the Adina's location. There were roadworks and an excavation site opposite the entrance. At reception we were given instructions on where to locate the parking. Adina had their own allocated car spaces at the adjoining shopping centre's car park, so it was not straightforward. Finally, we got to our room which was fine, and the beds were quite comfortable, however we noticed there was only half a roll of toilet paper with no other spare in sight and only one bath towel. On calling reception regarding the missing towel, I was told I could pick one up from reception. As it was late, I asked if it could be dropped to our room and was told they would do so, however that never happened. We declined breakfast as we thought it was far too expensive even though reception did offer a discount of 20 euros each. Apparently, it is cheaper if prebooked online. On the upside, on checkout we asked for some advice on directions and the receptionist went to some trouble and he emailed a link to us which was quite helpful.

Mega comfortable rest at Le Meridien Luxury Hotel near the city centre, to which you can reach through the green city park. Very polite and welcoming staff. New and spacious rooms with stunning noise insulation. Very quiet and no sounds are heard from the street, even in those rooms that come out on the busy carriageway. Good and big pool, fruit, water and tea for your services. A stunning and very diverse breakfast: dishes for any taste - pancakes, waffles, baking, sausages and fish, omlets and freshly squeezed freshes and mushrooms. Best place in the city!

Wenn were quite lucky and got a corner room which appears a bit bigger. Quite nice area with a lot of shops and restaurants close by as well as the subway station. Room cleaning was sometimes a bit shallow but besides that, we were really happy with this hotel.

The hotel is in a super location, you are very fast in the city.
Room is clean, staff very friendly.
Only the choice for breakfast could be a little better.
So there are different breads , Croissant, egg , sauce , cheese , mushrooms , bread lifts, a fruit basket
Since I very much like vegetables eat I missed this a little, there were small cups with a cherry tomato and 2 curry cucumbers, there had to take 20 cups to eat ” sufficient ” vegetables.
But that should be just a small point! If you are not a hash and you like to have carbon hydrates for breakfast , you are here well lifted :)

Close to the station, supermarkets and department stores are within a 1-minute walk, so it's convenient anyway. All the front desks were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very delicious with many kinds. I want to stay at this hotel next time.

The hotel's location is very central. According to it, perhaps a little too central, because at a later hour the street before the hotel is camped by the party people and other groups. That can be so, but our children made it more afraid. We booked and booked a parking place. Then the feedback came, I have to book the parking place again extra via a separate email address. Ok, I did and did not receive a feedback. When I stood in front of the parking house, I was called through the telephone that everything was full and they had no reservation for us. The hotel was then explained in very holp German that if they were not to sign up, there would be no place in the parking house. I then renounced the discussion with the staff about the logic of this approach, because I had the feeling that half of what I say is simply uninterpreted. In the invitation is spoken of a modern hotel. In fact, it is an old building that was probably equipped in the 1970s and has not been renovated since. The beds were uncomfortable and in some way everything was very out of time. It smells very old and the cleanliness was also moderate. As you can think it was also extremely ringhound. It heard the noise from outside very well as the enchanted guests who came home far after midnight. The hotel was deliberately booked because we were only one night there, but never again. It must be paid at check-in and check-out no silver wasted whether we were satisfied or not. Who doesn't go with time goes with time...

The Ruby Hanna hotel is in a great location close to many restaurants and shops, convenient to the train stations and near several taxi stands. The room was bigger than we expected and had a practical layout with a nice sized closet (which actually had room for a suitcase!) a shelf and hooks for coats, bags etc. The bed was comfortable and located as far away from the door/hallway as possible which meant it was quiet. Despite our stay coinciding with the first weekend of the Euros, and the hotel being quite busy, once we were in our room, we did not hear other guests. A nice touch was the Nespresso machine in the room for a quick coffee in the morning. The hotel bar is beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed sampling several cocktails from their extensive cocktail menu and chatting with the staff and other guests. The breakfast was in the bar area, but we did not try it. (There are coffee shops and bakeries very close by if you want other breakfast options.) The hotel and bar staff were all very friendly and fun and definitely added to our experience. Overall, a great stay and we will definitely be back!

GGuest UserWe had an amazing two night stay at Hotel Zurich Weinsteige with our family of three. We arrived at the hotel four hours before scheduled check-in and the hotel was more than happy for us to leave our suitcases whilst we went out and explored Stuttgart. Upon our return we found the staff had already taken all of our luggage up to our room for us. The breakfast is well worth the extra money. All staff were so friendly and helpful from giving us recommendations, maps, calling taxi for us. The hotel is close to a Lidl and numerous pizza and kebab shops for a quick meal. We would definitely stay again.

LLokThe room is spacious and clean though it’s a bit noisy at night due to its location with a few bars beside it and is located the opposite side of the hotel building where you are given a key to access the building that is without reception.
The location is convenient with a S-bahn station in 5 minutes walk and the marktplaz where the Christmas market is within 15 minutes walk. The breakfast is very nice as well.
However, the staff is not very attentive and did not offer help proactively for carrying my heavy luggage from the entrance with some stairs.

GGuest UserEasy check-in, with options available for online paperwork. Kind staff that speak many language, let you know all the details about accessing the building after hours, amenities, and answer questions about the area. They were accommodating to my early check-in request and late check-out, due to working hours. The WiFi was not always consistently fast for me, but it never stopped working. As mentioned in the other review, the walls are kind of thin so you can hear neighbors and people in the hallways. Also, this is very close to the train station (Stuttgart Hbf), so you will hear city noises at most times of the day/night. -They even provided ear plugs to help ”quiet” your stay. :) Simple stay, few amenities, but just enough for a quick stay or business-related trip.

Room is small and shabby but location is good and so was the price. However the internet signal is weak at best and keeps cutting out. No AC but most days that shouldn’t be an issue. Nice guests and families here. Mattress good but sheets are rough. Seems clean. Not friendly but polite.

Great location, very friendly staff. One of the entrances from the Stuttgart Hauptbahn Hof lead directly to the hotel. Later I found this wasn't the shortest passage, but great when travelling alone and arriving late at night. Room was clean and ok, but quite dated, but guess you get what you pay for. Very much appreciated the triple window glasses, so - even having a room facing the main street - very good sleep quality. There were two doors with an entrance between the bedroom and the hall, so very quiet. I'm not much of a breakfast eater, just coffee in the morning, so didn't have that. There's no kettle, but brought my own. They offered housekeeping, but since corona arrived, I feel safer without - both for me and for them. sked for an extra small towel which I got. No problems. Happy to stay here again.
