Located at a small bay it’s nicely away from traffic and center of the village. Good for swimming. Nice big pool. Apartments do have everything you need (but not a single item beyond that), kitchen was new, bathroom ok - everything very clean. Buildings, surroundings, central areas in the hotel are old and need to be redone urgently. Service was nice and polite. We didn’t eat there as it was not attractive. Overall too little value for the money.

Same hotel has 3 or 4 stars. Old part is without sef or cooler. There is no welcoming for guests, you can not buy newspaper, no store is near. You dont have shuttle from bus to the hotel. Every metal is very rusty. From food we are sick. Caffe is not good. In hotel there is no activity. I was dissapointed at this hotel. The price was too high. Some pay 3 times more than others and they dont have an explanations.

Staff were quite rude at times. Waited forever to checkin as the one person checking us in constantly left to answer the phone. The door was faulty and stuck which they said yes we know we’ll fix later! Dinner was over priced. It was a buffet and wasn’t topped up so most dishes were empty. Staff clearing tables threw the cutlery and crockery about and it felt like you were in an old college cafeteria The pillows were so flat and lumpy they were uncomfortable The people above us were up til all hours dragging chairs. It was quite a noisy location The beach front area was nice and scenic Our room was up a hill quite a way away which was fine except when you check out they said they you can’t checkout without the air con remote! No one tells you this at check in! So we had to go all the way back. Couldn’t recommend staying here It didn’t reflect the hospitality we’ve seen elsewhere in the area

We stayed 5 nights in a recent renovated appartment and had a lovely stay. The appartment was big, with a livingroom of good size with an open kitchen and big fridge. Big terrace with a nice view on the nature park of Strunjan and the saltfields. Modern bathroom and 1 bedroom. It was very clean and tastefull decorated. Airco worked very good and wifi too was good. The hotel has a large garden with swimmingpool. For towels, parasols and loungers, you have to pay extra. The same for the beach. Location is excellent for visiting the coast region. You are at the sea and from the beach, there is a nice view at Piran and you can see nice sunsets. There is no supermarket near the hotel, but the buffet diner is well priced and offers everything you need, 2 sorts of soup, a lot of vegetables and salads, choice of different fish and meat plates, a lot of different fruits, ice, sweet desserts and so on. It is nice to eat on the terrace with garden view. People working at the hotel are very kindly. If you like walking, there are some very nice roundwalks in the coast region that are good indicated and easy to follow. For public transport, the busstop of Strunjan is about 1 km from the hotel, a short walk along the sea.

The accommodation is average, but so then is the price. The bathroom was a bit dated and in need of refurbishment but the bed was good and clean. Soundproofing was not as good as it could be so you don’t want noisy neighbours. There is undercover car parking for some cars (not all) and it’s located a bit off the beaten track but close to the sea for an evening stroll. The outstanding thing was the excellent and comprehensive breakfast! Skip the hotel bar but get the breakfast to set you up for the day. I recommend it for a middle-of-the-road hotel in a popular area.

The hotel is excellent even if a little out of the way but easy to reach. Spacious rooms. It offers various services, it is close to the sea and also has a swimming pool. Excellent buffet always varied. The only flaw I found is the lack of a bidet in the bathroom.
