Hotel Brandauers Villen Superior

Brandauer's Villen is a boutique hotel located directly at the shore of lake Wolfgang (Wolfgangsee), with direct access to the lake (if the water is warm enough for swimming...). The hotel is split into the original building (with cafe, breakfast room, restaurant) and a newer building (where the reception and meeting rooms are housed). Guest rooms are in both buildings. They cater to leisure and business travelers with excellent amenities (professional meeting rooms with good equipment for business meetings). The rooms are spacious, up-to-date, clean, and many of them with a view of the lake. The most amazing room is the top-floor suite in the new building, featuring amazing views of lake and mountains along with a patio. Internet is fast and easy to access; breakfast decent with a good selection; staff friendly and accommodating; free yet somewhat limited parking on site and in the street. Overall, very quiet and peaceful, although it might take some time to get used to the nearby church with its bells ringing a 6 in the morning. Also: the reception closes before 8 PM, so make sure to arrange accordingly if you need any help later in the evening or plan to arrive late.

Stayed one night in a nice room with balcony overlooking Lake Wolfgang. Nice and clean room with Nespresso coffeemaker in the room. Unfortunatley the restaurant was closed but the nice lady in the reception was very helpful and brought us a bottle of wine to consum in our room. Breakfast was nice.
