Good Afternoon
My name is Nicole McCorvey and I am a Marriott member
I do patronize the hotel chain often whether it is a direct book or a third party.
On 8/07 I booked a room at Town place in Streetsboro (under trip.com) due to the tornado that went through our area, we were in need of a place due to the need for oxygen.
Thankfully we were able to receive a battery operated tank and everything worked out. and we did not have to bring our senior parents from Parma to Streetsboro.
I reached out to the property and was told no refund, which was ok
I then called back to inquire about a credit the representative (Adam) informed me that the manager was not avail and he would ask her tomorrow
I informed him tomorrow would be to late and he stated
"well if the room goes to waste, it goes to waste"
I informed him that that was terrible customer service. and an extremely rude thing to say.
He (Adam) begin to take deep breaths, I stated to him that the deep breaths on the call are also extremely rude and not necessary.
He stated he would leave notification for his manager for the credit
08/08 arrives and no one calls me
I call the property and speak with Victoria ( NOTE: to be a general manger, she should go back and receive customer service training)
she stated "you've called here three times and nothing can be done for you."
I was present when you spoke with Adam the first time, she cut me off and kept saying we told you already.
This is not true, it is up to the discretion of the property
I can tell you I will NEVER patronize that Townplace and word of mouth is the greatest advertisement
