The place is fairly clean, but the interior space and equipment are mediocre. If I stayed at the price, I believe there will be a better choice. The only good thing is that the parking lot is free, and there are supermarkets nearby for shopping.

we stayed Sat - Sun. No air con in any room, noise from supermarket lorry unloading at 5am. Sunday breakfast served from 8am, if you have an early start not good, refund on breakfast was a ridicules faff. only 30mins free wifi !!

Currently lying awake in this boiling hot hotel, feeling unwell with the excessive heat. Small fan making no difference. Will have to check out and find another hotel for tonight as staff report all the rooms are excessively warm and I just couldn't spend another sleepless night here.

Deserted when we arrived early at 1330 hrs but eventually a human appeared and we were let into our rooms 321 and 322 at 1430 hrs not 1500 hrs. Might be worth paying for early check-in. Luckily we had asked to be in a room overlooking the large FREE car park as those facing onto Birmingham Road were overlooking road works. There is a Tesco's across the road. Clean room with small shower room but as usual the mirror mists up. Pity more hotels dont have heated mirrors in the bathrooms. No drawers again in the room so basically you live out of a suitcase but you get what you pay for. Ten to fifteen minute walk into the town centre and river or plenty of buses. Breakfast was plentiful and reasonably priced. Plenty of room in the small dining room. Had dinner one evening in the Dirty Duck and can recommend it. Also ate in the Encore restaurant but the staff seemed disinterested and the barman insisted on throwing empty bottles into a bin. I couldn't wait to get out. Extra supplies of tea/coffee/milk available at reception. Bar prices rather expensive. I would stay there again. Staff friendly.

This was the most uncomfortable night in a hotel I’ve had in a hotel in a long time due to a dangerously hot room with insufficient ventilation. I didn’t have the facility to measure the temperature but am convinced it must have breached healthy limits. There were some important learning points nonetheless: Firstly, if the temperature is high, then it is imperative that the hotel does not allocate rooms on the highest floor if there is no air conditioning, as was the case in our room. Also, the window design should allow an opening of more than a few inches. This can be done if the opening is at the top of the window. We did have a small room fan but it was not powerful enough to make it possible to sleep and be comfortable.

Absolutely awful. Couldn’t even say I had a nights sleep, the rooms are absolutely boiling hot, it feels claustrophobic how hot it is, there’s no escape unless you want to go down to the foyer, the only place with air conditioning!! We had an exhausting day and both me and my partner just couldn’t get any sleep at all, and we’re good sleepers! There’s no means to get cool, there’s one type of drink in the vending machine downstairs, they’ve given one small desk fan in the bedroom which blows weak hot air. We stood it on a chair and tried to get it a bit closer to the bed, as it needed to be plugged in on the other side of the room and we still could hardly feel it blowing air at all. When I tried to log into the WiFi it asked me to pay for it or get 30 minutes for free… what are you actually receiving in the price of the room then? Just the bed…?

Relaxing solo getaway. Came to visit Stratford, visited the sights and the sightseeing bus which was lovely. Centre maybe 15 minutes from hotel. Hotel was clean, pleasant staff had no problems.
