Couldn't have had a better stay. Anne and Michael are terrific hosts. The breakfasts are excellent and Michael went above and beyond for us, staying up until 1:30 am when our flight was delayed to let us in. Definitely would recommend this b+b to anyone.

4 of us visited Stratford from the USA. We all absolutely fell in love with this place. We were just minutes away from the Stratford Festival events, but many of the great experiences came from the home itself. The house is beautiful and perfectly decorated. The breakfast each morning was gourmet. The hosts were interesting and communicated everything we needed to know as well as suggestions for dinner. This is definitely somewhere you want to stay; and hate when you have to leave! All 4 of us made reservations for same time next year!!

We are so grateful to be able to return to Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival and, once again, enjoy the extraordinary hospitality of the Caledonai Houst B&B! I'm sure that everyone will burble on about the sumptuous breakfasts that Anna lovingly and expertly crafts. Others will write about the gorgeous details of the public areas, gardens and in-ground pool. Some may write about how immaculate the rooms are or how amazingly comfortable the nights are on the excellent mattresses. I will leave all that to others. I will focus, instead, on the tiny details that make a stay comfortable: numerous hooks in the bathroom for towels, jammies and robes. A drain stopper in the sink is so important when you wear contact lenses - many B&B's don't have them! Michael, Anna's partner in hospitality and life, is always happy to put up a pot of coffee - thank you!!! Central air conditioning adds to quiet nights and comfortable days. We will book for next year before we leave! Thank you Anna and Michael - well done, as always!

I would give it 10 stars if I had this option. First 5 stars would apply to anticipated set of qualities: clean rooms with comfortable beds and all required amenities (toiletries, hairdryer, robes), good location (within walking distance to everything), working Wi-Fi and air conditioning in every room, and a lot more. It is all there. Additional 5 stars would be for elements that make this place special. The whole house is very cozy, charmingly decorated, and immaculately clean. Outside swimming pool is a nice addition. Guests are served with big and delicious breakfast. Anna is a great cook, and she creates different culinary masterpiece every morning. Anna and Michael go above and beyond in making their guests feel welcomed. Their hospitality has no limitations, and service is impeccable.

Excellent locatioin close to the theaters and down town. Anne and Michael were excellent hosts with our care and well being their first priority. After Annes incredible breakfasts you wont wanrt to eat for the rest of the day. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you from Paul and Lorraine.
