Wir waren für ein paar Tage im Backsteinspeicher Die Lage ist zentral und sehr ruhig. In der Altstadt ist alles fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Der FeWo ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Egal ob mit dem Rad, per Schiff, oder mit dem Auto. Stralsund und Umgebung hat sehr viel zu bieten. Wenn man andere, unrestaurierte Gebäude betrachtet, dann muß muß man objektiv sagen: Der Backsteinspeicher wurde aufwendig restauriert. Hier wurde sicherlich sehr viel Geld in die Hand genommen. Pro: - zentrale Lage und ruhig - komfortable und saubere Betten Contra: - Parkplatz, Fahrradständer, Garten: Alles sehr verwildert und ungepflegt - diletantische Lösungen für Sicht- und Wärmeschutz - der Küchenblock mit seinen vielen Geräten wirkt sehr unaufgeräumt - Staub und Spinnweben an vielen, vermutlich weniger genutzten Stellen - ungepflegte Dusche - schmutziges Kochgeschirr - lose herunterhängende Kabel und unbelegte Lichtschalter - ... Die Betreiber haben offensichtlich sehr viel Geld für die aufwendige Renovierung dieses alten Backsteingebäudes in die Hand genommen, vergessen aber dem Gebäude die notwendige Pflege zukommen zu lassen! Aufgrund der angeführten Mängel haben wir die starke Vermutung, dass für die Pflege des Objektes einfach zu wenig Zeit / oder zuwenig Geld kalkuliert wird. Für uns stellt sich das Objekt als ein Rendite Objekt dar, und weniger als ein Wohlfühlort mit dem Anspruch Stammgäste zu etablieren. Wir waren einmal da und werden nicht wieder kommen.
