Very nice hotel. Conveniently located to all Stone Town attractions. If there are any issues the front desk manager will do her best to rectify the situation. My only issue unfixable was the food or maybe It was the water they refill for the rooms. I recommend be on side of caution and drink only bottled water. Don't eat anything uncooked (salads juices made with ice etc.) And you won't spend most of your time in bathrooms.

The hotel is very close to Stone Town, but it is relatively hard to find in the alley. There are road signs on the roadside, so you need to pay attention. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor, and the view is not bad, you can see the sea.

It happened to be living in the former residence of Queen's lead singer Freddie Mercury. It was really an amazing experience. The appearance of the hotel is good, but the internal facilities are average. The bed and pillows are not comfortable, and the breakfast taste is average. It is better than the good location and the experience of this wonderful celebrity's former residence.

Great location From Zanzibar to Dar es Salem in front of Ferry Terminal Baru, It's convenient. I was happy that the lip reception manager welcomed me. I went to my family. I booked 2 rooms and thank the friendly staff for arranging the room next to my room. There is a fresh fish market nearby. You can walk to it. If you go to Zanzibar the next opportunity It is hotel which wants furniture again I ordered breakfast. I have boiled eggs with fruit and cheese. I ordered The fruit is fresh and the omelet is definitely recommended

Room, Balcony, View from the room and Restaurant is really nice. But only one thing they need to improve in their reception customer service. Room I signed when I check in and Room I really received was different. They changed the room without notice. I asked why they said it's same room inside. But it was totally different. Changed room has no privacy at all. We have to close the window during the stay. And I asked for late check out when I check in. They told me to check last day in the morning. In last day, I asked again for 2hrs late check out. They refused my request even didn't check the system. Just say NO. I am very disappointed with their attitude. And when I checked the site there were plenty room left. As everyone knows Zanzibar is the holiday place. Most of 5 star hotels in holiday place, they run check out time very flexible due to flight time. No deserve to have 5 stars in customer service.

The good/ great Food absolutely beautiful, the breakfast are fantastic, staff are absolutely lovely and can't do enough for you, rooms are clean, quaint and fully of lovely fittings and pictures. Veiw from roof top at night is just gorgeous. Location fantastic, everything easily accessible. Staff super helpful and thoughfull. The hotel is very old but absolutely adorable and full of character. They have gorgeous wines too and they're fairly priced. Gorgeous little court yard with pool and tropical plants throughout the the Not so good. WiFi mostly off or very poor so I couldn't get much work done. Beds are very firm, caused me a bit of hip pain at times because they're so hard. Soft Mattress topper option would be good in order to solve this. Would recommend? Absolutely!

The room was nice and clean. The service is quite good and proactive. The environment is great. There is also the only Chinese restaurant on Sang Island 300 meters away, which is very cost-effective. Recommended. However, the dolphin watching and prison island recommended by the hotel are relatively expensive, so if possible, look outside.

The beautiful Zanzibar Island has a sea in front of Baru If you take a walk in the morning, it's close. There are a lot of fruits like pineapple in the morning Make your own omelette with various ingredients I like hot toast and cooking The restaurant is nice by the pool on the first floor I was very impressed with the restaurant staff I was happy to speak Korean at the front desk Ex) Oh ㅠㅠ Close to the city and close to the night market If I go to Zanzibar again, I will definitely go back to the hotel. I was fortunate to stay here in June for 3 nights and I have to say I am in love with not only Zanzibar and Stone Town but this small boutique hotel, more like a boutique guest house as you are made to feel welcome from the first step inside the beautiful front doors. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and I managed to fit in a back and shoulder massage between exploring the city on my own and the tours that I had organised. As I was traveling alone I did most of my meals at the hotel as after long days it was easier to dine there and then relax on my room. The only issue that may be of concern for anyone that might have some difficulty with stairs is that there is no elevator / lift, so request a room on the lower floor but I have a knee issue and it was not too bad climbing to the second floor.

Really good service. Abdulaziz the manager provided first class service, and was extremely helpful and friendly and always checked on us at breakfast every day. The rooms are clean, the hotel is within stone town and close to a lot of the historical sites like the old palace, forodhani, darajani market and is a short boat ride to to prison island.

Well, where to start, it's a budget hotel, it works, its central, breakfast is simple but ok, staff are always happy, wifi is stabil and works fine, we hd room 104....... if you don't mind a hotel next to as mosque then it great, we on the other hand didnt appreciate it and were woken up every morning at 5, would I recommend this hotel ? Yes I would, all in all there is no view and a mosque next door, but you get what you pay for, its cheap and works.rooms were clean and tidy, toilet was loose,....... so what for 30 bucks a night

BEYT AL SALAAM was superb. Aminia and team were the nicest people we have met. There kind assistance with all our plans and excursions made our holiday truly unforgettable. The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. A large comfortable bed with chrisp white linen and very comfortable pillows. It had an airconditioner, ceiling fan, tv and tea and coffee facilities. A nice indoor swimming pool TRULY A GEM. Thank you so much for making our holiday so memorable.
