A friendly hotel with reliable staff who take care of their clients in every way. Not a lucury place, but it's clean and functional. Well placed in a reasonably quiet area. We have been here before, we will come again. That just about says it all doesn't it?

Good place for chilling around the stone town easy to have our own tour, stone town is very nice city with dedicated and hard working people This place is very hundred percent if you book has wonderful service with comfy rooms made us feel like we are home We will back again

The new Princess Salme Inn is a small-scale accommodation in the heart of Stone Town with very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Excellent value for money. Everything you need is provided: a comfortable king-size bed, good Wi-Fi and air conditioning, a wonderful hot shower, and clean white towels. The staff are very friendly and helpful (especially Tunu and Martina). The a la carte breakfast includes delicious real coffee and everything you could possibly want, from six different types of fruit to chapati and pancakes, and even egg dishes of your choice, all prepared à la minute. Be sure to request a room on the top floor, as you won't get much sleep on the ground floor due to the lack of soundproofing, the busy traffic, and the proximity of the doorbell, reception, and breakfast room.
