Hotel has been recently upgraded with excellent bathrooms and newly refurnished bedrooms.
Never stayed in this part of U.K. - thriving street market /street food event once per month; sense of a ‘fight back’ and good on them.

Good parking and easy to find. There was a £100 deposit I had to pay which wasn’t mentioned when booking the hotel. The room was nice but the shower had no water pressure and made it difficult to use.

We arrived early and asked if we could have our tea a bit earlier, the staff were happy to oblige in fact all the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is in the middle of Stone on the High Street so we were able to enjoy a walk before eating. The food was delicious and fresh as well. it was presented really nicely on a classic 3 tier rack. There were freshly made sandwiches with rocket and baby tomato salad, then 2 large slices of lovely moist ginger cream cake and 2 large slices of coffee and walnut cake with strawberries and macarons alongside and finally fresh fruit scones with jam and clotted cream. We took 2 slices of cake home. We would definitely go again !!

My partner and his mum stayed here for a few days whilst visiting me and they had a great stay! The staff were lovely, as well as the town. The only downside would be that you would have to ask staff a few times for things such as towels to be brought to your room.

Friendly, attentive reception staff, helped us with our bags. Lovely Clean room. Very reasonable too. Will stay again. Great stay, car park and lovely old building in centre of town. Quiet rooms of an evening, step right out on to high st and in heart of Stone

Stayed for a night with my 11 year old daughter on a stop over to Alton towers. Plenty of parking outside which was free, we had to enter the car reg in a system in reception. An unexpected £50 holding charge was requested upon check in which took about a week to be refunded. We stayed in the suites building next to the hotel. Quite run down but fairly comfortable. Very noisy though with people banging doors and shouting until the early hours. Beds were comfortable but no WiFi at all as advertised. Tv didn’t work, no free view channels and as no WiFi we couldn’t access any streaming services. Very close to Morrisons and the high street. In all the place was clean and comfortable and worth it for the price.

Booked an afternoon tea service was excellent really friendly and polite made sure we had everything we wanted Food was excellent very fresh and tasty Also explained what time the restaurant opened and that they served Indian food looked in the room and it was very well set up
