7 night holiday :-)
Super 7 night stay in a lovely family feel run hotel. Stunning house hotel and location, good food, fantastic staff who went the extra mile, nothing was too much trouble. So relaxing and they have a lovely cat called Bella 😻 🐈⬛️

This is an outstanding property in a quiet, picturesque part of Stoke-on-Trent (the village of Barlaston). Morgan at Reception on Tuesday afternoon 15/7/25 was fantastic… very helpful, very pleasant! Dinner was very nice…and the wait staff pleasant and efficient! Our room was well appointed and beds very comfortable, with a nice ensuite and shower. This property exceeded our expectations! A favourite stop-off
Excellent experience. Ideally placed if you travel up and down the country and very comfortable. Dinner excellent, breakfast too. The sitting room is very relaxed, and there is a resident cat who doesn't bother you at all.

Lovely hotel
Our second time at the Upper House and it didn't disappoint - we had a comfortable stay (in the same room as on our first visit!), and the food was as good as we remembered. We enjoyed the gardens in bloom and the walks from the doorstep. I'm sure it won't be our last visit.

Quiet rural location in a converted country house. There are a variety of room choices, all include breakfast. The restaurant has some great choices for breakfast. Dinner menu is also good. There’s a cosy little bar in the hotel and other pub and dining options are a short drive away. I have stayed here around 10 times and it is my go-to choice in the area.
