This stay was much better than i expected. Im here for work and Stockton isnt a verry safe space but my stay was very safe and clean. The staff was very friendly and helped me when my key didnt work. My car didnt get broken into and the pizza guys place next door was amazing.

Not the best
There was a hole in the bathroom door of our room. I asked for a non-smoking room, but there was a HUGE cigarette smell when entering the room.

Won't stay there again
Definitely a place I would not book a second time. It was a "non-smoking" room that reeked of smoke. No fridge, no coffee maker, TV barely worked. No coffee or breakfast in the lobby in the morning, in fact the lobby was locked up tight day and night. I had to check in and check out through a pane of thick glass. Bare bones hotel room. Freeway noise all night. The best thing about it was the door was stout and locked well.

Cockroaches and no blankets
The person was not at the desk when I arrived, and the office was locked. I had to Google the phone number and call to get someone to respond.
There were no blankts on the bed, only sheets, and roaches.

So unsafe that I left after checking in.... Which was done through a plexiglass barrier window with a steel passthrough. Absolutely a lovely employee though!
The parking lot was dimly lit and in the back of the property, the building was dingy, and most rooms were also in the rear. Motel backs up to a spectacularly varied graffiti ensemble, thus most rooms get a nice view of bad choices mixed with solid artistic flare.
Shares breathing distance with a quick mart/liquor store and a pizza place.

Didn't want to give ua an early check in... by 1 hr even with ectra charge. Ice machine didnt work and they didn't care said to wait 20 minutes then try machine again, another room was playing loud music and they couldn't control their guest's agtwr several c alls to front desk and after midnight the office finally called the Police. Wont be returning... very disappointed

Not the best Motel 6
The minute from check in i knew it was going to be a rough stay… the lady at the window was completely helpless and i dont think understood how to fully do her job… then went into room and when i went to get in the bed noticed there was a red stain on the blanket, luckily i take my own so didnt need to use it. The beds frame was so loud every time you moved… it was a long night cuz i toss and turn a lot. The pillows were flatter then flat also even folded both, this is a personal preference… the single outlet by the bed didn’t work so left the two under tv or one by bathroom sink…

This place is is need of a major overall general good cleaning & renovation. Upon opening entering the front door, which had visible signs of being kicked in on multiple occasions to the fridge door, which came off, was not screwed on. The bathroom fan cover hadn’t been cleaned since the Clinton administration. I could go on, but not enough ink & paper.
