This was definitely the best local B&B stay my husband and I have ever had. Every detail was meticulously attended to, from a corkscrew in the suite to beautifully manicured grounds. The staff were extremely kind and amenable to our requests, finding solutions when our desires were not achievable. The rooms were luxurious and romantic. Breakfast was well done and the evening cookies were incredible! We particularly appreciated the proximity to bustling downtowns like Lambertville and New Hope but also the peace and serenity of the multiple acres the property sits on. If you enjoy picturesque views and colonial charm, this is absolutely the place for you!

We have been visiting the Woolverton for the past 24 years and it gets better and better each time we visit! The Hunterdon cottage is wonderful from the perfect light fixture in the cupula, the comfortable bed, to the fantastic shower and whirlpool tub. Breakfast is wonderful and the afternoon cookies are to die for! The best getaway to relax and reconnect. We cannot wait to see the restored barn on our next visit!

This his was our second visit to Woolverton, but the first with our puppy Cubby. The first visit anywhere with a pet! It was perfect. They were very welcoming and the cottage provided a private and sheltered environment. Cubby loved it This year they included an on-site dining option. Excellent gourmet level meal. We will be returning sooner then we originally planne.

Fantastic from start to finish. 8 stars does not cover our experience. I was with a small wedding party and the grounds were beautiful, the staff extremely helpful, anticipating every aspect of the ceremony and willing and able to accommodate minor adjustments, all done with a smile. The guests added some touches for the wedding couple and the staff could not have been more helpful in their suggestions. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, well appointed, with large bathrooms and we had multiple views of the scenic grounds. The dining experience was unexpectedly spectacular from appetizers at cocktail hour, dinner and breakfast - everything was freshly made and delicious. The chef's creations were a masterful use of high quality ingredients. The location is convenient with so much to do in the area. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Everything about our stay was beyond our expectations. We loved our accommodations in the Garden Cottage, and so did our sweet dog who was even treated as a special guest. The gourmet breakfast is exceptional, the grounds are stunning & the service is superior. Every detail to make your stay memorable is met. I particularly loved the coffee machine in the main house that made delicious variations of coffee drinks 24/7. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and this was the perfect setting. We look forward to returning whenever we can.

Had a lovely New Year's weekend at the Woolverton Inn which was all dressed up for the holidays. Stayed in Amelia's Suite on the 2nd floor of the manor house. Charming, spacious room with nice views of both the front lawn and back property including the intriguing sheep. Nice features included the whirlpool tub, window seat and gas fireplace. Breakfasts were a delight with nice selections and great service. The glass enclosed porch is heated for winter and a nice spot to enjoy breakfast. Enjoyed the fresh baked afternoon cookies with cappuccino or espresso. The property is expansive and picturesque in a romantic part of NJ with plenty of activities in the area. Mary & Mario were great hosts ensuring our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this property and looking forward to seeing the completed new event space and restaurant projected for some time in 2024. Make sure you stop by and visit the sheep!

This was our second visit after several years. Mary and Mario managed to raise the bar on excellence. It was a beautiful property in 2016 but we noticed some nice additions this time around (e.g. updated entranceway with lighting, fountain, firepit, etc.). The breakfast is as beautiful as it is delicious, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Mary and Mario are not only the owners but hands-on staff who are sincere and caring, and present every day greeting the guests and in the dining room making sure all is running smoothly. Thank you again for a great return visit. Of course we will continue to recommend and visit again the next time we are in the area.

This is a lovely place to stay - especially for a small holiday getaway! The inn was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The staff and innkeepers were friendly and helpful. And breakfast was wonderful! Very tasty and satisfying. We also enjoyed the afternoon snacks and the tea/coffee bar. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to going back in the future.
