We stayed here for one night after we went on the Stettler to Big Valley Train ride. Our experience, in one word, .... Amazing !!! Phoenix house was rustic but without the musty smell. It was very clean and inviting. Dave and Barbara-Lynn were excellent hosts. Pleasant, helpful and they made you feel very comfortable as soon as you stepped through their front door. They were very easy to spend a little time with (if that is your thing) and had many interesting stories. If you prefer your privacy, they will absolutely respect that and give you your space. It is up to you. Their Breakfast was delicious and they take any food allergies accommodations seriously. Their front deck, sitting room and, back decks are designed to help you relax and they sure accomplish that. We would happily stay there again.

The house is absolutely gorgeous. Tastefully decorated with an old style feel, fantastic greenery and flowers throughout and really enjoyed having a nightcap under the gazebo. Beautiful and filling breakfast and Dave and Barbara Lynn are wonderful hosts. We will be back!

I am so glad that I opted for extra comfort & booked here. The mattress and pillows were sooo comfortable. I spent all of my time apart from my planned events just enjoying the BnB. The breakfast was tasty & the company pleasant. I appreciated that a flexible check out time was possible on that day. One thing I would recommend to pack are slippers or light indoor shoes with grip to navigate the beautful wooden floors.

We stayed at the beautiful Phoenix House. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and it was nice to just relax in the mornings and not be rushed. I brought my tiny dogs along and the owners were very good with them too. I would highly recommend staying there and I am sure we will be back!

A member of our group was hospitalized. I informed the B &B immediately. He contacted about which room to release and filled the second room then charged us for that room. We paid for two rooms but only one was available. He lacked compassion, honesty and integrity.

Really appreciated the warm welcome and introduction to the BnB. Our room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Enjoyed our conversations with the hosts. Beautiful gardens! Convenient that we could also arrange our Alberta Prairie Railway tickets through the host.

My husband and I truly enjoyed the two nights we stayed at the bed-and-breakfast. The hosts were gracious and we really enjoyed the conversations we had with other guests during the family style breakfast. Our bed was comfortable and we had air-conditioning which was necessary since it was 35° outside. There is a lovely backyard to sit in if you have time, and are not doing a lot of sightseeing like we were. Thank you for your hospitality!

Very charming home and welcoming and interesting hosts. Excellent breakfast, beautiful room, and very calm surroundings. The garden is a big plus as well. Close to the downtown, which is becoming more lively every year. Hosts are very knowledgeable about the region, its natural and cultural attractions.
