It was nice, just a problem with the water for showering, and communication a bit off we emailed asking for the extra 2 days as promised by management to Eddy to be kept for another visit but have had no reply to date.

There are no words, I can give to this place , the sewerage smells is so over powering especially when u are seating on the bed watching TV, the curtains were not washed , dust everywhere, old cigarette buds by the ash tray.- 10 review

Skilpadvlei Wine Farm is a very charming place, the rooms are nicely designed and the restaurant is great, particularly the wine. We had a very nice time. It is a good location to explore the wine region, however, it is quite away from Stellenbosch, so you need a car. Safe parking is offered on the facilities.

We loved the beautiful setting, location close to Stellenbosch and the lovely restaurant on site. The cottage was roomy, clean and well equipped. Staff was friendly and it seemed as if they liked working at Skilpadvlei - warm atmosphere.

The wine farm is a perfect place to stay after a long flight to Cape Town. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They were so helpful from the check-in for our complete stay. the restaurant food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The rooms were well equipped and included a lovely patio outside the rooms to enjoy the setting sun.

Truly enjoyed our visit at Skilpadvlei, the venue itself is beautiful, the restaurant is top notch and the room was nice and comfortable for my son and I. The breakfast was absolutely amazing - loved the ability to choose what I want vs having a standard breakfast or buffet. Will definitely be back, the wine tasting and the things to do for kids are endless, don't even need to leave the property for much at all.
