Thank you to all at Val De Vine for making my wedding day so special, from staying over to hosting the reception all was done exceptionally well. Beautiful venue, luxurious rooms, welcoming staff, you all have done an amazing job! I'll recommend you to any bride. I'll also recommend the restaurant for a nice dining experience the fillet and gnocchi was amazing. Keep on doing what you doing!

What a great surprise and lovely experience to stay over at Val de Vine. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed, and loved the ambiance of the guest house, as well as the outside bar built around a huge tree. We relaxed in the garden, enjoyed the live music, and long cool drinks. We were going to a wedding about 3,5km away and that was the reason for staying over. Our comfortable room with a super king size bed opened onto the garden. Glen, the restaurant manager, was so friendly and accommodating. He and his staff went more than the extra mile to meet my dietary requirements for breakfast. The chef came to chat to me and brought me the most deliciously presented vegan breakfast. We can highly recommend visiting Val de Vine as its location is so convenient to wine farms and the Route 44 market. Nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our requests. The other "cherry on the top" for me experiencing Val de Vine's hospitality is their resident big friendly dog that strolls around calmly and visits people or lies in the shade by the bar. My husband and I plan on visiting again soon, even just for a lunch and live music. We can really recommend a visit when you are in the Stellenbosch area. THANK YOU GLEN AND STAFF.

Fabulous and fantastic 👏. Food was great as always. Host Jono is a absolute delight 😊 always respectful and fabulous. Service Excellent and friendly staff. Live music and Great specials on all the time. Can't wait to go back . Thanks guys.

WiFi doesn’t work
Full of characters who are drunk
No key to get in safely at night
Strange people walking around
Bed is rock hard
Toilet makes noises in middle of night
Loud music and crowded of people
Noise from talking until the early hours in the morning
Do not feel safe, doors do not lock properly
Can’t enjoy the pool as it’s filthy and full of kids
Staff do not care/ are rude
Breakfast isn’t up to scratch of a 1 star hotel
At night you can’t get in safely after 9pm they lock the grounds and the area is full of characters.
There is a code to get in that they do not tell their guests, the night warden is meant to let you in but he was drunk and aggressive.
DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst customer service.
