We got married there and went back to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. Well, what an exceptional experience. They upgraded our room to the most beautiful suite. Staff were brilliant, service superb and the hotel is just a wonderful place to spend some down time. We will be back in the winter.

The Lanzerac continues to provide our family with a home away from home and a wonderful base in the Cape. The staff are warm and welcoming and the facilities are excellent. The Taphuis has the best burgers in Stellenbosch!

Luxury stay in a historic estate hotel. Our room was excellent with a large balcony and hot tub. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We tried the wine tasting which was very good and enjoyed the informative and fascinating cellar tour. Restaurant was good and we would definitely return.

Absolutely first class tasting menu with wine. Lovely ambience, attentive staff and beautiful food. We enjoyed a drink on the terrace before moving into the stunning dining room. Every course and pairing wine was expertly explained. Very special place. Loved it.

Our stay at Lanzerac in Stellenbosch was a next level experience. It was really hard to leave or step out of the luxurious room, but when we did the quality of food and service at the Deli, Taphuis and Manor Kitchen restaurant were spot-on. Friendly and attentive staff everywhere on the property made our stay even more memorable. A solid choice and experience investment. Thank you Lanzerac, we'll be back soon.

The lanzerac relies on its wine farm history and location to sell its accommodation and restaurant. Rooms are not well maintained but the biggest problem they have is too many staff who don't have a clue what they are doing and the food is appalling. We had out of date moldy room service items and breakfast is a nightmare as all the food is open and covered in flies. Could not believe this at a five star establishment. We stay 10 nights and two were completely ruined by weddings so close to the hotel the noise was a nightmare. The Spa is dirty and gym is even worse and so old. It is at the top end of prices in the cape and mot at all worth it. The flash website. The history of the wine farm is the selling point. Go somewhere else and save your money and have a better experience
