Lovely hotel, exceptional service, breakfast was well prepared and plentiful. The location is far enough out of the main part of town to be nice and quiet but only a short walk to get to Dorp Street. The room was spacious and well furnished. The bathroom was also spacious with both a bath, shower and separate toilet. The décor was in theme with the old world charm of the house. A delightful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Batavia Boutique Hotel from the time we arrived and were welcomed by Temba . The location of the hotel is super - in a quiet street, but within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the Stellenbosch Museum . ( well worth a visit!). The decor in the hotel and in our room is really lovely, as is all the furniture and crockery and cutlery. The staff, and a special mention goes to Temba, are so friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast are scrumptious . We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Stellenbosch and would highly recommend Batavia Boutique Hotel.

A lovely experience in a small, family run hotel. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we were treated like royalty. The owner was helpful and suggested and booked many trips for us. Quaint, colonial decor with lovely China crockery - a change from huge cups and everyday plates. Excellent choice of breakfast it's with hot food cooked to order. Lovely pool areas. A gem of a hotel in the heart of Stellenbosh. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with great staff (thank you Temba) and a super convenient location. Room was very comfortable, we loved all the decor and the breakfast was excellent. Couldn't have asked for more and have recommended to others thinking of visiting Stellenbosch.
