A very quiet piece of heaven. We stayed in a Superior Room (1st floor) which had a private balcony from where you could enjoy a wonderful sunset. I would recommend an early breakfast so you can enjoy the quietness in the garden just after sunrise. A central point from where you might enjoy the area with the many wine houses where you can enjoy a very good lunch.

We stayed here for 2 nights while in wine country. Wedgeview helped us book a private wine tour. As well as, has on site spa treatments. We had a peaceful quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend this for a place to stay.

Such a peaceful and beautiful stay in the middle of beautiful Stellenbosch. Everything is so nice and relaxing, the staff is the kindest and sweetest, and breakfast with a view is one for the memories. Highly recommend.

Wedgeview was the perfect starting point for our South African journey. It was about 20 from Cape town airport and a very convenient distance to Stellenbosch wineries. We spent two nights here to recover from jet lag and to explore stellenbosch. We loved everything about this property and its staff!

This countryside hotel has everything to make it a perfect holiday destination. The only thing that could be improved was the service. It was a bit messy. Another guest’s laundry bag was misplaced in our room, we reported a wasp nest on our balcony after check in, but it was still there the day we left. And the service at the dinner was not the best. Example; offering to bring some mayonaise, but then never actually delivering it.
The staff is the sweetest you can get. But some training would make a huge difference.
That said. Hotel and rooms are beautiful!
