We had booked two rooms for our family trip. My sisters room on the ground floor was perfectly acceptable but my brother and I were sharing a twin room on the third floor and it had obviously not been prepared properly before it was released to us. The room appeared to have been stripped bare, possibly by the previous guests. Compared to my sister’s room we had no microwave, kettle or toaster, the wrong fridge and almost no crockery, cutlery or cleaning materials. We reported all of this to reception but it took two days for the room to be brought up to standard. For our final two nights we decided to take a further room for for myself to give my brother and I more privacy. They gave us the key for the room next door, but it had not been prepared at all and was in a filthy condition. We had to insist on the room being cleaned to an acceptable standard before we took it. My sister sent an email to the management as requested and they did not even have the decency to reply. A couple of the reception staff were helpful and friendly but we certainly would not recommend this place to anyone.
