The room window is relatively small and feels very depressing. However, the restaurant and reception area are very bright and comfortable. It is quite different from what I imagined. It feels strange that half of the room is decorated and the other half is not decorated.

The fact that the hotel offers a dinner and a breakfast with the price is very good. They even let you make waffles in the lobby without extra cost. When both meals are fantastic and the service that the staff provides is excellent, the rooms are clean and nice - the stay becomes amazing! I simply love staying at that hotel!

Fantastic Staff,room and breakfast. A hidden gem..... stayed with daughter, Great price, loved the home Foods for etsning mellom and breakfast. Healthy alternatives. Nice location, something Else than the big hotels......Will vome again!

Great beds, nice personal at the reception. The breakfast was good, evening dinner was ok. They have a lot of different sauces, I count up to 10 to choose from. Perfect with parking place for electrical car. Clean and nice hotel. The breakfast waffle was very good. Price was okay to be in Norway.

We came here for a short one-night getaway together with our dog, and discovered this great hotel! Our dog was most welcome, and her eyes almost popped out of her head when we made a waffle for her in the reception. Nice garden to sit and enjoy a free coffee, and a very tasty evening dinner buffet. Add to this the close proximity to Egge Museum and other nice places, and it is perfect for a short break.

A hotel with a used-look and yummy (free) waffles. Don’t check too detailed the coffee machine, because it’s dirty as hell…but it tastes good and I’m still alive. They didn’t want to open their hotel owned e-car chargers and forced me to use expensive public ones on their parking lot. The chargers on the hotel wall are locked with a sign saying „ask the receptionist“. She said they prefer that guests use the (expensive) public ones before they open theirs.

If you're staying in Steinkjer, this hotel has delicious home-made food. It also has an interesting location with ancient stone circle remains just outside. The hotel is located in a quiet place off the main road and city centre, but I would say the main attraction is the people who prepare the meals!

Really loved this place, felt like a home even if rooms are not the best. They cover your needs. But breakfast and especially dinner buffet were superb. The best there is. And a super offer when you are traveling

Stayed here from thursday 12th may and untill sunday 15th may. Hotel is located outside Steinkjer down town. 15 minuttes walk from hotel and to down town. Hotel staff is service minded and helpfull. You can make your own waffle cakes and coffee in the reseption. Hotel has been refurbished . Rooms comes with most of the things that you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are good and you will wake up feeling fresh after a good nights rest. Price include a cold supper in the evening. Also free breakfast in the morning. Will stay here again .
