If you’re looking for a place to stay this is the place to go. The staff was absolutely amazing! Rooms are spacious and very clean! Communication before, during, and after our stay was top notch. Everything you need for your fishing/scalloping trip is within walking distance. Their Diner is open for breakfast and lunch. Staff at the diner was great! You can even have subs made as early as 6:30 am to take with you on your scalloping/fishing trip. Can’t wait to go back!

Our recent stay at Steinhatchee River Inn was so enjoyable. Barb was so friendly and accommodating and just made our stay that much better. It was a packed weekend when we went but had no issues at all. We will be back for sure.

Great location near the water, marina, e.g. scalloping, fishing, etc. Room was nice and the staff was very friendly. They have a restaurant/grill across the street where you can grab breakfast, lunch, etc. The town was recently hard hit by several major storms. It's nice to support the local businesses as Florida residents.

Good to go! Great location. A little dated, but clean room. Quick response to any issues. Great friendly knowledgeable and courteous staff. All the supplies you need and good food at marina across the street. All ready planning winter fishing trip.

Travelling from the uk we had an amazing experience here, the room was super quiet and very clean. The staff (patty) were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. There’s some good restaurants in the area that can have live music and the locals made us feel welcome. Would definitely go back.

Our first time trip to Steinhatchee to scallop was much fun. Our accommodations at Steinhatchee River Inn met all our needs .The downstairs room with living area/table n chairs coffee pot , microwave and large fridge/freezer was perfect for our 2 night stay. Bedroom and all were very clean staff helpful and personable We choose the scallop trip with the 2 night stay and our trip was perfect weather with Capt Julius /Buddy and Bree They really helped us with our first time scalloping Bree shucked our catch too. Lots of fun. Across street is their Marina with loads of scalloping. fishing supplies. Here is also a cafe where you get your included breakfast sandwich in AM..Cooked to order . Lovely. .The River Inn had a wonderful pool to float in both days with pool towels too and just a short walk away was Kathys Crab shack.. Unfortunately unless you like everything fried we were not happy. Fish was halibut..no fish from nearby waters..No crab ..Never the less we enjoyed our stay and scalloping trip.. Thank you River Inn

We have stayed here before, and every time, the staff have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome. Reservation, check in, and interacting with the store/ marina was all easy. The Hotel rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. It met all our expectations for a fishing trip. If you’re expecting the Hilton, this is not for you, but if you want to escape and get back to the old Florida feel and fish, this will be for you. Enjoy and good fishing!!
