We stayed here for 3 nights this week. This is with out a doubt one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in our travels around the globe. We were lucky enough to get room 1407 on the top floor. Because the hotel was built on the hillside overlooking the harbor our room had spectacular views. We’re guessing this is the case for all of the rooms. Breakfast was an extensive array of hot and cold foods. Even omeletes! Bonus, the kaffe was really good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Stavanger central bus station and all of the restaurants in the city’s center. If you have time, make sure you go up to the Espier Bar (Spy Bar) on the 14th floor. The views are probably the best in town and their prices are very reasonable. Benjamin and Juaquim (Ethan Hunt) were excellent mixologists and a lot of fun to talk to. FYI, Benjamin is an award winning mixologist. He didn’t say anything. My lovely wife looked him up on the internet. Don’t miss staying here. We’ll stay here again! Takk skall. Bra jobb Clarion Stavanger!

Because the flight was postponed twice, the red-eye flight from the previous night was delayed until one o'clock in the afternoon to Oslo, driving in the mornings of various corners, or in the middle of the night, it was darker and lacquered into the hotel, although the summer of Norway was dark. late. The breakfast is great, it is worth the extra bed fee I paid. Hotel location should be OK, did not care, but note that there are two Radisson Blu, very close, don't go wrong. There are not many parking spaces in the underground parking garage. It can only be parked in the parking lot. The city center charges are expensive. It is a good time...

I was in Stavanger for 4 weeks on 2 separate trips during October to December 2021. I was accommodated at this hotel by my company so I did not know what to expect. Fortunately, the hotel exceeded all of my expectations. Firstly it is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Everything is on your doorstep, including a supermarket, which is next door. The rooms are functional, bright and clean. It is not a 5* Hotel and it is not marketed in that bracket. You get everything you need and more but for a very good price. The best bit is the breakfast, it is vast and has so much variety. It is always kept well stocked and caters for every taste. The hot food is plentiful as is the choice of cold meats and cereals. The staff are some of the most helpful that I have ever encountered. We dealt with Linda who was on the night shift, she could not have been more helpful and the team provided us with an extra early breakfast on the weekends, even though they did not have to. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and i will most definitely be returning. Thank You Linda and the rest of the team.

It was the first time I stayed in a hotel with dinner, which was very convenient. Good service attitude. Very close to the ferry terminal to Pulpit Rock.

Good location: very close to the Fiskepiren pier to the Mission Stone and the airport bus. In the old town, so walking to the sights are within a few hundred meters. Soundproofing is good, very quiet, with a fridge and a kettle. The breakfast was too rich and there was salmon. This price is really cost-effective in Norway.

This hotel is in a great location- walking distance to port, restaurants/shops, etc. It is not a fancy hotel, as evidenced by the good price. It was clean, they changed our towels daily, and took out our trash. I know others complained of noise, but we did not experience that. Check-in was simple- how to enter the hotel and get our key was texted to me and it was super easy. It’s a small room with 2 twin beds, tv, 2 chairs, and a desk/table where I was able to work. There are plenty of outlets for charging electronics. You will need to bring your own hair dryer and shampoo/ conditioner. There is bar next door. We were happy with our stay, especially for the price!

It is about 6-8 minutes walking distance to the nearest bus stop. If it’s raining, it’ll not be a good option. Overall, we have a good experience here with renovated room and tasty breakfast at 21F.

We stayed at Clarion Hotel Energy, Stavanger for 4 nights. We had a super delicious and full variety of foods in the breakfast restaurant. I celebrated my birthday at Kitchen & Table Restaurant, the foods and the service was excellent. We are satisfied the standard of the room, but the cleaning need to be improve eg: vacuuming and mop the floor and dusting the table. Generally, good service minded staffs, excellent foods.

Very Good
Stayed for 2 nights in early July with the family. The parking is free in summer which is a welcome surprise for Norway. The parking garage is clean and easily accessed. There was a playroom setup with bouncy castles and kids activities in one of the conference rooms. Like the free parking, I believe this is limited to summertime. My kids enjoyed this a lot, and was necessary for them to burn off energy. Location is good if you have a car and don't need to be within walking distance to the center of Stavanger. Nearby and within walking distance are a few eateries, Dominos pizza, grocery stores, and an Ikea. We took a day trip to Månafossen waterfall and would highly recommend it if you can handle a steep 15 minute climb and have hiking boots. It was a scenic 50 minute ride by car into fjords. Central Stavanger was an easy 10 minute car ride and there were many parking options near the downtown area. Preikestolen is under an hour drive by car as well. The hotel is fairly new and modern and in good shape. The hotel layout is strange and may involve a long walk down the irregularly shaped corridor. We were near the far end and of the hotel but wasn't that bad. We stayed in the one junior suite in the hotel. It was very big for Scandinavian standards, with the bedroom separated from the living room, a powder room and an ensuite bathroom. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Sound proofing seemed good as we didn't hear any other guests at all. Even though the hotel appears to be geared towards business travelers, it was excellent for a family stay. Just don't expect to have a nice view from the rooms given the location. The breakfast was very good, with enough options to not get tired of the selection if staying multiple nights. Seating was comfortable and spacious. The buffet is laid out in an orderly and logical way. The pancake section setup for the kids was great. The staff in the breakfast area were very friendly, and went above and beyond accommodating my 3 kids. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel restaurant so can't comment on that. We would gladly return to this hotel.

Staid here for a couple of nights while visiting Stavanger. It is located on a good location, on the edge of the city centre with a nearby big public parking that is paid. However, we had plenty of issues with the check-in process and the whole service that is automated and quite frankly bad. First the app for check in never managed to load the key on the phone meaning that we could not get in the hotel since the ring bell did not make anyone show up so we were lucky someone was entering one minute after we came. We had two reservations and the app told us it was the same room but the keys stopped working the next day and no one was picking up the phone on any of their numbers although it says 24 hour service but I guess Sunday was not included. Luckily we managed to find a cleaning lady who managed to resolve it but it still took us at least 90 minutes to figure it out. She was extremely helpful but otherwise bad service all the way. The room itself was fine, clean and big enough with a bathroom that was a bit too small and difficult to use for me. We did get breakfast as well, which was a new service and that worked but quality was so-so. They did answer to our emails, just a bit too late so its not a place I would recommend to anyone but I can not say its very bad, just barely average with potential issues along the way.
