One of the most gorgeous butique hotels in Europe! The facilities, the spa, amazing service and staff, restaurant and rooms, all of it is just exquisite. We keep coming back and enjoy every moment. It is one of those rare places where superb standard is kept and ongoing.

Another fascinating destination shared with friends whilst driving on the wrong side of the road! They say; “The story of Stara Čaršija has started centuries ago and it will continue far into the future.“ and I’m confident of this. We weren’t expecting a halal Hotel but the stunning rooms and location more than made up for a little break from alcohol. 😀😀 Beautifully appointed and large bath rooms also made the stay even more luxurious. Tried the local cuisine at Restaurant Kaldrma. Then I walked the old city walls and old town. 15,381 steps and 45 x Stair goal this week! Recovery the next day involved having a Turkish hammam “for the best skin treatments and body cleaning”. This was worth every cent. Walked away feeling rejuvenated.

Very beautiful hotel, super helpful personnel, nice spa zone, breakfast is very delicious, standing view from the window. The best place in Bar to stay - highly recommended. Just if you want massages book in advance. For room service ask receptionist for menu. Has its own parking zone

The customer service was excellent. The women at the reception desk were exceptionally welcoming, and the restaurant staff was very attentive. The quality of the produce is excellent. We were given a room upgrade on arrival which was appreciated. The room had a small balcony that overlooked one of the courtyards. The room was serviced daily, they even knocked on the door to give some complimentary chocolates. The only downside is that the hotel is alcohol-free and this wasn't mentioned in the description, but it wasn't too bad as there were bars nearby if you wanted a drink.

Such a nice place, amazing views of the old town and the staff are so nice, helpful and kind. Nice spa with sauna, steam room, swimming pool and a variety of treatments. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely hotel. Room was warmly and uniquely decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. Everyone in the hotel greeted us with a smile. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Thanks especially to the manager Chaheed for his hospitality. :)

Tasty food especially Saslik with potatoes were excellent, as Turkish coffee as well, pleasant staff, five stars as it. Personal helped us every time we asked for assistance. Thanks them for patient and kindness, wedding present was beautiful 😻 . One bad thing, near the free city parking we faced with several aggressive youngsters extorted money from our wedding photographer for free parking. As result they scratched her car. So good place, but petty crime could mess up.

It is a very pleasant hotel, with every detail carefully considered and decorated with carefully selected items. There are private rooms that make you feel like you are living in Ottoman times and stylish touches that make you feel like a street hotel concept. The view, design, cleanliness and calmness of the hotel are very good. A real boutique hotel and more. Sockets and lamps are reinterpretations of old times. The stone and wood workmanship of the hotel is extraordinary. Wrought iron iron is a well-thought-out work of mastery. Refreshments and sherbet are served generously at the reception. I can say that it is the best hotel not only in Bar but also in Montenegro. By far the best of the hotels we have stayed in and more. As the owner of two hotels in Cappadocia, I must state this; As someone who has traveled to many countries and stayed in a lot, Stara Carsija is one of the top 3 hotels I enjoy the most. I congratulate the hotel owner and architect.

Beautifully restored building converted into a small hotel with restaurants, bar and spa. Located right in the old town of Bar. Incredibly friendly and helpful service. Reserved parking available. Easy to find with sat nav.
