"Facilities: Meets 5-star standards. USB ports are available, so no adapters needed. There's a balcony with a river view. The only downside is that the toilet is too close to the wall, making it easy to hit your head when getting up.
Cleanliness: Pretty much dust-free, though there was a sandstorm just before we arrived, which might have had a slight impact, so there was a tiny bit of dust. The bathroom was clean and fine.
Environment: The hotel interior and exterior are like two different worlds. The air freshener scent was a bit strong and seemed a little forced. It's not a brand-new hotel, but it's well-maintained. The building is perpendicular to the riverbank, so there are fewer rooms directly facing the river; most have a partial river view. This area along the Nile in Cairo is full of big hotels, with the St. Regis nearby. It's roughly the same distance by car to attractions on both the east and west banks, so I highly recommend staying in this area.
Service: My flight arrived in the morning, and I stored my luggage. They said the room would be ready by noon. When I returned in the evening, I initially couldn't find my luggage, but then the hotel checked and said it had already been sent to the room – a false alarm. Breakfast was excellent and highly recommended."

"We stayed in this hotel for more than 2 weeks. It is a mediocre hotel which is acceptable if one does not expect a good standard. The lobby ceiling is low which is not usual for such big hotels. The bar and the restaurants are not very attractive. The food in the Italian restaurant was of a very low standard and we returned it and skipped this meal.
Our newly renovated room in the main building was well acceptable which we experienced after we moved from a very old style room in the tower.
It is not far away from the airport and can set e well if one does not expect much.
Annoying was that upon checkout it took 15 minutes to proof that our booking had been prepaid which is a other indication for the hotel's organisation and standard."

"I have a memorable experience during my stay FG room with full Nile View with Lounge Access. FG team members are well trained, patient, professional and more. What impressed me most was their food. Food and beverages were delicious. One of the staff asked me what I want to order for my dinner, then I said I'm vegetarian. The staff helped me to confirm with chef regarding my request and at the end served me a vegetarian spaghetti. It was so delicious. Besides that, the check-in and check-out process was very smooth. I like the welcome drink and chocolate too. Thanks to the FG teams, thanks to cleaner (cannot remember his name) and thanks to Irish as well."

"Honestly, the stay was disappointing. The floors were not well maintained, and I found the bathroom to be in a very unpleasant condition. The shower tap was leaking, which made things worse.
The breakfast was also poor. The juices were not fresh, and everything that was offered tasted bland.
On top of that, the experience at the pool bar was frustrating. Every time we ordered something, the waiter kept coming back repeatedly to ask if we wanted to order again or to make us pay. During the two days we spent by the pool trying to relax and take a nap, we were constantly disturbed and woken up to be asked if we wanted anything.
The iron should also be replaced as it is in poor condition. It ruined a pair of beige trousers and a white shirt while I was ironing.
We only stayed for two nights and did not want to be difficult guests, but in hindsight we should have raised these issues, especially considering this is a 5-star hotel and we paid for that level of service.
Overall, this was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience."

"The door of the hotel is very small, and you need to go through security to enter. The service attitude is OK, which is a hotel with good service in Egypt. The staff will also take the initiative to help take the luggage to the room.
The room can see the Nile River, although the Nile River in Cairo is not the most beautiful. The room is not big, but the overall facilities are OK.
Because it is near Liberation Square, you can hear something like hymns in the middle of the night, and you will be awakened at around 4 o'clock. People with sensitive sleep should pay attention. The hotel's sound insulation is also average, and you can hear the sound outside by the window."

RricksterI needed to stay here for a business trip. The good points are the consistently high quality of the St. Regis rooms, the abundant breakfast, and I loved the swimming pool.
The downside is the location. The new capital city is so new; the nearest shopping mall is a 30-minute drive away, and because it's so new, even ride-hailing services are hard to find. The hotel only has two restaurants.

GGuest UserThis was the best hotel on my Egypt trip. However, it's still a far cry from luxury five-star hotels back home. The breakfast wasn't great; there was very little variety. Perhaps due to cultural differences, you have to order drinks from the waitstaff, which was a bit inconvenient. The funniest thing is that the person at the front desk here had the best English of anyone I met during my entire Egypt trip, haha.

GGuest UserThis Marriott hotel is located in Cairo Airport's Terminal 3, which is incredibly convenient. It's only a five-minute walk from the hotel to the airport via a dedicated elevator and skywalk. We arrived much earlier than our check-in time, but they were able to accommodate us without any extra charge. The staff in the lobby were all very friendly and helpful, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff available!

MMichele CarlesiUnfortunately, this time I experienced a few issues with the room. The tap was clogged and, after it was repaired, the sink became clogged as well. The door was also partly broken and had to be pushed very hard to close properly.
As a business traveler, I usually have breakfast early in the morning. At 6:00 a.m., however, the breakfast room was already crowded with a large group of very noisy tourists, which made the experience less pleasant.
Despite these inconveniences, our stay overall was still pleasant.

BBabellaThe breakfast was absolutely delicious with a huge variety of fresh ingredients. On our third day, we had an early domestic flight and heard there would be long queues, so we skipped breakfast and the hotel prepared breakfast boxes for us. Turns out, there was no one at the airport, and I really regretted missing out! I wish breakfast started at 6 AM instead. Getting a taxi in Cairo is so easy to get ripped off; an Uber driver tried to charge me 1200 EGP, which was four times the 300 EGP quoted in the app. The bellboy at the entrance was very helpful and found me a car for 600 EGP, which was much more reasonable.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot.

RRaypanDon't go in winter if there's no heating; it was 10 degrees outside and 15 degrees inside. During my two-day stay, the first day the warm water was around 40 degrees. On the second day, after I kept urging them, they finally fixed it to just warm enough, but still not hot water. The decor looks like it's 15 years old. I came here because it said it opened in 2019. The service was indeed good, so I can't give a bad review for that. However, I spent two and a half hours over two days waiting for repairs and service. In summary, it's a five-star hotel with three-and-a-half-star facilities.
