The NOVOTEL hotel exceeded my expectations. The amenities were excellent, and the staff were very attentive .Great place with the loveliest owners who were so helpful .I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was top-notch.I will come again next time

The person we should thank the most for this three-day and two-night stay is the housekeeper Xiao Wang, who first took the initiative to contact and then upgraded the room. He thought of all the problems and unexpected things you thought of in advance, making us feel at home. He really responded to every request, was warm, thoughtful, professional and efficient. The staff in the underground parking lot and the guy driving the battery car were also very friendly.
The breakfast was rich, and the wontons, sesame cakes, corn, dried bamboo shoots, etc. were very delicious š. There were also Anji new white tea and honeysuckle, jasmine, rose and other flower teas to brew (not tea bags).
The hotel has complete hardware facilities, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and it would be more perfect if it was maintained better; the Chinese restaurant does not have many dishes, the taste is okay, and the service and management can be strengthened.

This is my third year of vacationing in Huixin Valley. Huixin Valley is surrounded by mountains and is a natural oxygen bar. It is a good place to go to Banwei. There is a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off at any time when you enter the resort. It comes in a timely and convenient way. It is suitable for traveling with children and the elderly. The housekeeper Xiaojuan is also very friendly and replies to messages in time. Last year we dug bamboo shoots and this year we picked tea, focusing on giving children a different experience. The breakfast is also very rich. I will consider coming for a vacation at a fixed season every year in the future.

The room is very big, with three floors. There is a spa room, a mahjong room, and a private outdoor hot spring. It was windy that day, so I contacted the housekeeper and someone came to clean up the leaves immediately. I would like to give a special mention to my housekeeper Tina. I have stayed in many five-star suites or villas at home and abroad. I think Tina's service is the most professional and attentive. In addition to the basics, she also sent me all the travel guides in Huzhou. The guides are very detailed, including scenic spot guide maps and performance times. Because of this, this trip to Huzhou was very pleasant and trouble-free. I also left something there and she sent it to me as soon as possible.

Environment: The environment is great, because it is in an attraction, and there are lawns everywhere where you can camp, walk your dog, and fish. You can take a walk by yourself, ride a bike, or take the hotel's shuttle bus, which is very convenient! There are black swans and alpacas at the south gate of the hotel. When you are tired, go to Yang Coffee for a cup of afternoon tea and feel comfortable!
Service: Butler-style service. If you need anything, just call the butler on your phone and the reply will be quick!

This hotel is not at all foreigner-friendly. Since I am vegetarian, I asked the restaurant to serve me something of my choice (which was included in my booking), but they refrained to do so, and even when I asked them to just give me salad, they charged me extra for that. I also asked if they could make me french fries, which is simple, but they didn't care and didn't provide me. The staff also guaranteed me to provide during breakfast, but the chef denied it. The food was not at all good. I booked it at the hotel so i don't have to go out in search of meal in different city but Not happy after paying so much.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort, which offers stunning architecture and decor, an inviting outdoor swimming pool, and excellent and relaxing hot springs. A special mention to Max Gu, the front desk employee, who speaks fluent English and is exceptionally kind and helpful- a true asset for welcoming international guests.
A few things need improvement: bath towels were quite used and the breakfast eggs station was too slow, indicating a need for more staff to help speed up the service.

Amazing stay with 3 families and 4 kids 8,5 and 4 years old . I would recommend go from Sunday to Monday or weekdays. Great nature, many activities for kids, shuttle bus service, friendly staff. If your kids picky eaters -bring your food with you, there if fridge in the room. Breakfast is good, dinner you can find rice, noodles and soups with dumplings. There is kind of cable car, trampoline, slides, indoor playrooms. Service is super efficient, rooms are clean. Super happy that we made it !!!!

The best part of the stay was the team of incredibly warm and lovely staff who look great care of us and our little one, from the receptionist to the pool lady, cleaning ladies, restaurant team etc. We also had sweet dessert and fruits sent to the room in a hot flask daily.
The bubble machine was faulty on day 2 of our stay and when the hotel staff found out we had a family photoshoot planned that day, they immediately called for someone to fix it so that we could have additional props for pictures, which was very sweet and thoughtful.
The only downside is that there isnāt very much to do within the hotel or neighbourhood and there is only 1 restaurant (although they are happy to take any special requests for food off the menu. We asked for å°é¾č¾ for example). Families would enjoy the well equipped kids playroom and activities they provide in the garden (kite flying, sky lanterns, bubble machine, balls etc.)

I booked the Shuiyunkuan room type with the legendary āview ceilingā. I was shocked when I opened the window - the whole bamboo forest and distant mountains spread out in front of me like a giant screen painting. When the clouds and mist spread over the valley, it was as if I had fallen into a fairyland! I woke up in the morning with birds singing, the sun shone through the gauze curtains on the bed, and I sat on the terrace with a cup of coffee, watching the light and shadow flow in the bamboo sea. This moment completely cured the fatigue of the city~

The room design is very stylish, with log elements and warm light atmosphere lights. Every shot is a magazine blockbuster. The most surprising thing is the super large panoramic floor-to-ceiling window. Even if you are curled up on the sofa to watch TV series, you feel like you are surrounded by nature. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet, and the bathtub faces the mountains and forests. You can watch the clouds roll and unfold while taking a bath, which is a full sense of ritual!

From the front desk to the cleaning staff, they are super friendly. They help plan the tour route in advance and send local dried bamboo shoots as souvenirs. When I wanted to have a midnight snack, the housekeeper immediately brought me hot wontons, which was more comfortable than staying at home~

Whether you want to relax or take photos with friends, this is the perfect place! Shuiyunkuan room type is the center of the landscape. When I posted a picture on WeChat Moments, I was asked about the address. Anji's wild luxury ceiling is confirmed. I just need to give it a five-star recommendation!

LLisaMy experience at Naked Castle was spectacular. The staff were warm and friendly. Especially Johnson, who is the kindest host. He made sure that my trip went smoothly and welcomed me with sparkling hospitality. Nadia made my stay entertaining and pleasant as she included me in activities, gave an incredible tour of the castle, and her enthusiasm is an undeniable element to the experience of this resort.The facilities are immaculate, cleanliness and user satisfaction are top priority at Naked Castle and I will definitely be returning again soon in the near future.

BUT !
Currently (beginning of October 2023) there is a lot of ongoing construction in the hotel area. In total three construction sites with heavy impact on view, piece and quiet of the countryside hotel. Especially the rooms/villas located on the hill are impacted.
Hotel staff was lovely to find a solution and alternative room. Rooms in the main building are less/not impacted from noise, but didnāt fit perfectly our needs as family of four and they are lacking the Mountain view (construction view). Looks like construction will last for a whileā¦
Hotel management should be transparent and inform in advance about the ongoing construction. After construction is finished it can be paradise againā¦

WWILLIAM LEONThis resort provides an exuberant, exquisite, excellent experience. The location and layout of the buildings provide privacy with easy access to several wonderful facilities.
There are activities for people of all ages, from young children to their parents.
The dishes offered at the Kikaboni restaurant are a fabulous blend of western and Chinese tastes, every one scrumptious! The ingredients at all of the restaurants are very fresh, because much of them are grown at the farm just across the road from the reception building. Every day, even through the winter, fresh produce is harvested from the well-organized greenhouses. The breakfast is extensive, with many options both western and Chinese to delight your palate and fill your stomach.
Finally, the decorations throughout the resort are unique and made of local materials, the result of an informal competition among the staff to make better and better artistic creations.
All in all, I highly recommend the Naked Stables Resort. You won't be disappointed.

CCuc DanielAlthough we booked in the last moment when most of the hotels were sold out, this hotel exceeded our expectation! The hotel is located in the downtown Anji with many shops and restaurants around, though on a quiet place and very easy accesible by car. It is such a good base for trips out of the city. Our family room was spacious, very nicely equipped with two bedrooms. It was very clean and all appliances worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable. We fellt there like at home Breakfast was fair, not very extensive but enough good choice for everyone. Swimming pool is located on the roof in 6th floor, that's attractive to see the whole city. It's good for swimming and it is not crowded. You just need to follow the openning ours which are not throughout the whole day, that's a bit annoying. I would welcome openning the whole day with completely free access. The hotel staff was just briliant. They had very nice comminication, servis absolutely top and they very helpful to give any advice or help to organise trips to interesting places. I'm planning to come again to Anji because there are a lot of interessting natural places and I'm planning to stay in this hotel again.

AAnonymous UserWe are a family of 3 who stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel has a penguin enclosure at its lobby and is a favourite for kids. There are also kids' train rides and car rides at the lobby. Our room had a good view of the old town and fireworks at night. But aside from these, the hotel does not match up to its title of a 5-star hotel.
- There was no warm welcome or good service during our stay.
- The curtains are not black-out curtains, so you will get woken up by the brightness outside at 5am.
- The lifts and carpets at the corridor are often dirty and not cleaned well. Not just litter, but large chunks of dust.
- Cleaning of our room the next day made it even more dirty. The cleaner just brings the dust of one room into another room. Highly suggest for the hotel to change the type of mop/ broom used.
- The restaurant where we had breakfast does not provide fork and knife and said they do not have these cutlery when we requested for it. They only have chopsticks and porcelain spoons. This shows that they are not ready for international tourists.
