"The location of the hotel was very convenient.it is walking distance from the park and all the main attractions like kokusai dori, pottery street , port and etc.
The room wasn't spacious though. You can barely find some space for a medium size suitcase. If you have a big suitcase you might have some troubles using it.
There's a big bed which was taking most of the space of the room. But was very comfortable to sleep in.
The bathroom is very well equipped with some modern shower which gave me a vibe of a spacecraft."

"We stayed for four nights as a family of four, coming to Okinawa for a relaxing holiday. The two things we cared about most were the room size and breakfast—and we were very satisfied with both. Although the breakfast selection didn’t look very extensive at first, everything was delicious and well-prepared. There was a nice mix of Japanese, Okinawan, and Western options, and the menu changed daily, which kept things interesting. We left breakfast feeling full and satisfied every single day. The room was comfortable, and it was great that the TV had Netflix and YouTube available. Parking was also very convenient at 1100 yen per night (2pm–12pm). The location is excellent—right next to Naha Main Place, a popular local supermarket, and close to DFS Galleria as well. 7-11 just downstairs! The only minor downside was that the bathroom is located right next to the bed, and the sound insulation of the bathroom door could be better. Out of the two hotels we stayed at in Okinawa, this was our favourite. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next self-drive trip!"

"The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s a 4-minute walk from the monorail station.
The room was on the 8th floor, with a view of the surrounding area.
The room itself could be extended, with an additional door leading to the neighbouring room.
Towels are changed every day, and bottled water is provided daily as well.
Breakfasts are just right.
The only drawback is the position of the toilet – it’s too close to the wall, and your thigh ends up pressing against the toilet roll."

"I stayed for 3 nights total. The hotel is very conveniently located near the main Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping Street (less than 10 minute walk), so there are lots of food options available. It was also relatively close to the Okinawa airport and taxi only took less than 20 minutes to arrive. It is a decent walking distance to public transportation/buses.
Room:
I loved how big the room was, in comparison to the typical Tokyo suites. It was large enough to open two large checked luggage. I recommend to book a two-bed room as the beds are larger and rooms are more spacious. The shower stall was spacious and it was attached to the bathtub and so it didn't feel claustrophobic at all. It was perfect after a day of snorkeling. They also do housekeeping everyday here, if you put the sign up.
My only feedback is that the towels were occasionally stained so we did need to ask to switch them. At one point, we almost received a towel with a dark red stain but luckily the front desk agent saw it and quickly switched it out before giving it to us. Otherwise, I did not use any of the facilities such as the laundry machines so cannot comment on that."

"Although our stay was pleasant, hotel policy for complimentary extension for an hour is very strict. I asked with the staff in the front desk using google translate if we can extend an hour checkout 12nn, as we check in late night 8pm. However the staff straight away say no and have to pay 1100yen for an hour extension which I find it so absurd."

"It’s surrounded by massage parlours but felt quite safe. Can walk to the busy part of Naha in about 15 minutes. The only reason I’d stay here again is if I wanted to onsen. That was the biggest draw for me. There wasn’t much customer service. Check in with a computer. Same with check out. We had a small Honda N box and they said it’s too tall for their car park. They provided a list of nearby car parks. Again not much service there."

"Checked in on a typhoon day, the streets were completely deserted 🌪️, and all the restaurants were closed. But the hotel became our strongest support! I was worried we'd be stuck eating instant noodles in the storm, but the hotel really went into 'fan-favorite mode' 💗:
✅ Heartwarming rescue 🆘: They gave out free, steaming hot curry rice 🍛 in the lobby. For stranded travelers, that warm meal was a lifesaver!
✅ Unlimited refills: The Club Lounge was incredibly well-stocked! Not only did they have various juices 🧃 and alcoholic beverages 🍾, but also Okinawan must-tries like peanut tofu (Jiimami Tofu) and Blue Seal ice cream 🍦.

My stay at the Okinawa Hinode Hotel was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Okinawa. The hotel is conveniently located near Kokusai Street, making it easy to explore local restaurants, souvenir shops, and popular attractions. The monorail station is also within walking distance, which made transportation very convenient.
The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. Although the space was not very large, it was well organized and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff members were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I had questions.
One of the best parts of the hotel was the complimentary services. Guests could enjoy free drinks, ice cream, and late-night ramen, which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The public bath was also excellent and helped me relax after a long day of sightseeing.
In addition, the breakfast offered a variety of delicious Okinawan dishes and fresh ingredients. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Okinawa Hinode Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa.

The environment, location, and design are all pretty good. The only downside is that the pillows in the room aren't very comfortable. There's a shopping mall, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, so it's quite convenient. It's also not too far from the train station; you can get there directly by taking the overhead bridge. The large public bath requires going nude, which I couldn't bring myself to do, so I didn't go.

Guest UserLove the excellent location which is just 5 mins walk to Makishi Station and Kokusaidori Shopping street. There's family mart and Cargoes supermarket at L1 and linked to car park. The room is clean and consider spacious. We can choose either to make up room or change towels every day. It would be good if hotel can also provides shower cap. The staff are friendly and helpful. I think it deserves as a 4 stars hotel instead of 3 stars as it exceeded our expectations.

AccSrdThe hotel's location is pretty good. While it's not in the very center of Kokusai Street, it's quite convenient for the subway station. You can walk to the Prefectural Office and even DFS. There's also a seafood market right next door, which is great for dining.
The lobby environment and room size are both decent. However, having to pick up toiletries downstairs yourself makes it feel a bit too much like a budget hotel (even though it carries the JR name...)

Staffs are nice and helpful, thank you a front dest staff, Itoh san, she can speak very good English, smile like the sun shining.
Hotel connecting with a Tokyo famous restaurant “Moss” with pretty good fine dining with reasonable price, good to visit if your schedule not too rush, enjoy a 2 hours relaxing dinner there, you could taste Okinawa local fresh ingredients.
Swimming pool is small, and you can swimming with flowers and leaves.
Remember no mid night car parking, please enter earlier in the first parking get ticket for a day, count 15:00-11:00, ¥1500 per day. Nearby lowest rate is ¥900 per night.

The hotel service was excellent, and the soundproofing was great. It's also incredibly convenient to walk to Kokusai-dori, only about 10 minutes away. There's a convenience store nearby as well. Plus, the hotel's after-sales service was outstanding. I'm very satisfied.

The room was okay—simple but comfortable, and it had a large bed which was great for a good night’s sleep. However, there were a few inconveniences. The TV remote control was in Japanese, which made it difficult to use, especially for someone not familiar with the language. Another downside was the parking situation. There was no free parking available, so I had to pay for the car park each day, which added to the overall cost of the stay. While the room met basic expectations, a few small improvements could have made the experience much better.

I was very disappointed to find out upon check-in that the complimentary beer, which was mentioned in the reviews, has not been available since October. Also, 2500 JPY per person for breakfast is way too expensive, so we decided not to book it.

Compared to its price, this hotel gives you soo much satisfaction.
I was really satisfied.
Compared to other hotels in Japan, the room was very wide and so clean.
You can use bathtub and relax, too.
I liked that I can see all Naha city view from this hotel.
Also I enjoyed the time in Infinity pool on the 3rd floor.
Even though I had no chance to look around 15th floor panoramic view.(I forgot to go up 😅)
please go up to 15th floor and check the panoramic view.
Even though the weather was very bad (whole day it rained 🥲 )during my visiting Okinawa, staying this hotel made me feel good.
